my local radio show one of the biggest rock stations in the chicago land area was interviewing theory of a deadman. a few days prior tom the host of the show asked on his facebook what he should ask athe band about, several people responded to him to ask about the 82 fiero. while the singer was totally cool about it tom decided to be an ******* . so heres the youtube link so you can here it for yourselves. feel free to email tom@95wiilrock.com and complain or his boss jp@95wiilrock.com these are both public emails availible on thier website so im not posting any private info here
all i can say is its amasing how people can act over a simple question and for no reason. hes usually a nice guy on air but i gues hes a real douche in person now that i heard this.

maybe its just me but calling fiero owners hitech lowlifes isnt excatly what i like to be called. that and saying fieros shouldnt be owned i wonder if he knows that more lambos and ferraris have caught fire than fieros. but thats just my 2 cents
I didn't really hear him being a "douche" about it just seems like he is trying to dig himself out of the hole that he dug. But I will say that I don't like the Theory of a deadman at all anyways, or any of the other bands that thinks that it's so "cool" to be a lowlife, or trailer trash, or white trash. Anyone that thinks that is just so cool has no grasp on reality and hasn't ever had to walk a mile in those shoes. Just like the song they wrote about how he hates his life because he drives big fancy cars and lives in big mansions. If he hates it so much prove it, give it all up, or do like Kurt Cobain. </Rant>

man its a great song and Theory is one of the best bands of the last 5 year so i think they should be given some slack for getting the year rong. i think its kinda cool that my car got mentioned in a song, i dont get y everyone went to defcon1 over this
Perhaps it's the fact that he DIDN'T mention your car? an 82 fiero doesn't exist and if he even had one and put "a car seat in the middle" I would say he is a terrible person and doesn't need kids. And the reason people are going "defcon1" over it is because perhaps, JUST MAYBE, enthusiasts of this car do not want to be associated with a moron who has no real grasp on real life by singing songs about how cool it is to be scum, dirt or white trash, or the fact that he sings about hating his life when he has literally everything handed to him. I know I don't want to be associated with that band. Its like the Camaro image, the 3rd gen Camaro has a stigma about it because someone portrayed the owners as mullet sporting white trash hillbillies, when most of the people that I know that have them are NOT, and own nice houses and have good carriers. And best band of the last 5 years? I can name at least 20 off the top of my head that are better, have more talent and haven't had life served to them on a silver platter, but this is purely subjective and opinion based so that argument is null before being argued upon.

im not ripping on the band i was just talking about the radio host i think the singer was fine. well either way that was the interview so there closeur if any was needed on the subject, they messed up and admitted it now all they have to do is fix it lol.

"cuz i'm a lowlife, and i'm lovin' it" its the lyrics in the song. its supposed to be a compliment to have yourself in a song tom isnt being a moron, just talkative. hes trying to be funny i think tom was right to say to the singer "just stay away from the fiero in general" MOST of our cars are relatively cheap,really old and just plain arent reliable enough just get in and drive every time. just try to take your car to a local shop like any other person who doesnt know much about cars, the mechanic looks at you like " um... what is it again?"
"i drive and 88 fiero with a shifter in the middle grabbing gears on the interstate" is how i would have liked to see it too, but the point of the song was to relate to those of us lowlifes who own old junky cars. and what a cheaper old junky car than an 80s (voted worst automobile era). and fiero (media all over just exclaims: FIRE!)

cant believe how much crap the band is getting for missing the year by a few. And i really don't get how FIERO owners are getting all pissed off. They put the word FIERO in a song, and its a good song too.

i wasnt giving the band any crap im glad that the fiero got a mention in the song its cool as hell. i jut think the host asking the questions was a dick.
I dig the song. And the song is quite tongue in cheek. TOADM are a great band.
