Really this is a great thing, I don't have an XBox, and therefore not this game, but I want one now!
I used to play a game called GT legends, it featured cars from the 70's in European races. In that game I drove a Fiat 600 Abarth. I've wanted one ever since.
Imagine now the people that will be introduced to the Fiero, and how many will want to buy one in the real world!

GT Legends was totally badass, was even better in a multiplayer environment. When we run LAN parties down here, often we end up regurgitating the same titles as we have no internet connectivity at our venue. So when everyone's sick of shooters, we'll rustle up a sixteen car grid and have at it. The Abarth is probably the most fun of all the early cars in the game; the Cortinas are a bit of fun, and some of the later stuff is a ball, but the Abarth is my personal choice for most fun
BUT, GT Legends was reasonably hardcore on the realism. For new entrants to the title it can be quite harsh, and players using keyboards simply won't give the steering wheel or game controller guys a real run.
Forza on the other hand can be adjusted pretty heavily between full-on realism all the way to wimpied down for the newbies. 4 is even more forgiving, but has even more hardcore options too if you like that kinda thing... I predict many evenings of blasting the '88 around and being generally a good portion more abusive than I am with my real '87, just to see where the limits really lie.

Because I don't have an xbox, and I don't think F4 supports the G27 wheel...
Sadly, no G27 support - if you want a wheel for FM4, your options are the stupid 'speedwheel' thing that you use with Kinect (think Wii Style), the Microsoft Wireless Racing Wheel (old and discontinued) or the Fanatecs. Although I'm told, the Fanatecs are more than equal to the G27. Would love one but don't play enough Forza to justify it

The MADCATZ Xbox 360 Steering Wheel Looks to be a decent wheel. I have not tried it, so I can not rate it good or bad.
This is awesome news. I love playing Forza 4 and have always wished they would introduce the Fiero to the earlier editions. Glad it finally made it into one of the DLC packs.

Don't be too quick to knock the speed wheel, it's actually pretty good. I bought one and think it is a lot better than the Wii style wheel which I never really could get the hang of.
The Xbox one is actually very precise and comfortable to use. I particularly like how easy it is to setup and pack away, plus how your normal reactions behind the wheel of a real car can come into play instead of using the analog stick which doesn't really feel anything like that. The triggers are also great when trying to modulate the throttle.
You don't actually need the Kinect for it either, it works under the same system that the regular controllers do.

I like having real pedals though - so I've got the older Wireless Racing Wheel. Holding the wheel in your hand just doesn't seem... natural
For what it's worth with the Madcatz Wheel, Madcatz's quality has improved over the years; acquiring Saitek was the best thing they could have done. But at the end of the day, it's not a Saitek branded product, it's a Madcatz house brand product. So take it with a grain of salt... it'll look the part but will it work as well? Who knows. At least there's plenty of options besides the obvious, the Fanatecs are amazing and I hear absolutely brilliant to use and a legitimate rival to the G27 and in many cases, an improvement over the G27.

A lot of the cars that used to have swaps available don't anymore. I would expect that this car will probably be able to take one or two upgrade GM engines, but don't expect it to be anything crazy, if any are available at all.
Also, to those who are wondering if changing it to a notchie would be an option, I feel that would be highly unlikely. To my knowledge, it would be the first time in Forza history that a car was given different body styles through mods.
Looking forward to this so much, I can hardly wait!

I was really dissapointed last year with the Fiero not making the cut in Forza3, which i didnt buy because of, so i was not going to buy Forza4 either.. But im sure gonna get it now. We could have so much fun.. Have Fiero club meetings online, and go racing our fieros on whatever track we want.. Its gonna be a blast..
I'll be picking up my copy in the next week or two.. The Fiero doesnt come out untill Dec 6th anyway..

I picked up a copy of Forza 4 yesterday, and a LIVE membership, I'll be dowloading the pack on Dec. 6th, I'm not going to activate my Live membership until the 6th when the Fiero pack comes out, I've only been playing 4 since yesterday afternoon, I had Forza 2, if the online is the same, anyone planning to get a race together with other PFF members and Fiero's let me know. My Xbox username is " Rourke E Rourke "

Forza has been a great series to own and play. Of course there are a few things that I would change/add, but hands down, my favorite game ever. While the GT is put up for winter, Forza fills void of driving. And now with the great news coming from Turn 10, it's time to spend endless hours carving up Fuji.
I brag of my S Class standings, but that is only due to the fact that I haven't concentrated on other classes. . I am sporatic as to when I play, but it is usually in the evenings. I look forward to clean racers, and will have to keep my eye out for club members.
I want to add, any cars that I place in the garage are ones that have placed at least 1% on more than one track. I don't get big into paint, and spend most of my time tuning. Enjoy...
Besides the fact that the '88 GT is arguably the best performing Fiero made, I think they chose not to do a notchie so as to differentiate the Fiero from the first-gen MR2 a little for those who aren't as "enlightened". (However badly I may want an '85 SE V6 in the game, I don't think it's going to happen) I'm just so happy I finally get to drive my favorite car.

I've got the older racing wheel too, it's good, but I never used it all that much because of the amount of time it took to set up. You really need a bench too to mount it on for it to be nice and comfortable. Definitely find something that suits you though to make the game as enjoyable as it can be. I can't possibly go back to the normal controller after using the speed/racing wheels.

I won an early release download code, so here it is: This is as close as I can get to making my personal Fiero into Forza. On the plus side, there is a V8 swap from the G8 GXP!
LS3 swap!? AWESOME!!
