Hah, yeah since the race box is 6-speed I use the F40 ratios
I run three Fieros in the game now - tuned for C, B and A. The A-class car is making around 300hp (2.8 with twin turbos and cam), full cage and suspension, angry tyres etc and it can school Ferraris...
The F40 is geared for economy! LOL.
I own page 5! WOO.

nice to see they finally put a fiero in this game. too bad they weren't able to put in as many of the other engine swaps that can go in this car like the 3800. the engine they give as a swap is good and kinda makes me want to change my swap idea on my real car but i still wish they included the other ones so that, for me at least, could see what the car would be like with the swap done. still, at least i can see what my car can look like with different color schemes.

Oh, so now you got the V8 bug?! PSHH. Only because it's the LS3. Did you hear it with the race exhaust? Yea it sounds like my real Fiero except more V8 like because of the larger displacement, 6.2 compared to 4.9.

So I get home from class today all excited and ready to try out our favorite mid engine 2 seater.. I turn on the xbox and go to add ons, connect to live.... connecting............... connecting........... connecting........
FAIL
This thing is fubar today. DAMNIT
On top of that right after I re-parked the real Fiero in front of my house and its making valvetrain noise with 10psi higher oil pressure than normal.

Oh damn. I just scored top 1% in this A class Fiero I built. 3.0L V6 turbo, fully tuned. I don't think I've ever had such an easy time against the Corvette Z06 and F430 . In FM3 both those cars gave me fits with the A class races. Give me 15 laps of Silverstone though, and I can lap 'em with my Fiero .
Its hilarious cause the car still technically has a 2.8 in it. A Fiero with a 2.8 beat a Z06 . In the rankings its all Lotus 2-Elevens, Aston Martins, Z06's etc, and my Fiero .
I joined [Pff] and uploaded it to the club garage if you guys wanna try it. Its the white A-class Fiero uploaded by Tinton3w. I also uploaded full-tune B, S, and R3 class Fieros if y'all wanna try them out!

Well , you can press start when racing , "Photo Mode" can be selected therefore you can edit if you want high sepia or a bright picture and so on , also you can take a photo right there at the main screen of your career mode. To upload your pictures on here or Facebook , go to http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/community.aspx .Enter your Gamertag and you can select all your photos to download them to put them as your backround , edit them with photoshop etc.
Hope this helps!

Microsoft just released a new dashboard for the 360. Some problems have come along with it.
What I did to fix mine. First I couldn't get the new update to install. Can't connect to Xbox live without it either. Go to settings, memory, harddrive, and press "Y" I believe for extra options. Clear the system cache. Once done you should be able to download the update properly.
This worked for me. I'm not sure yet if I like the new dashboard or not. Its deffinately... different.

It is amazing for the Kinect... but when I use my controller, I feel like I have to navigate around a lot more than the old dashboard. It's intuitive, to a point. I don't like that they moved all the video apps (like Netflix) out of the video section, and into the "apps" section. Seems kinda stupid, if you ask me.

They based the new Dashboard off the Windows Phone OS and Windows 8's start screen. I personally... hate it. Though with YouTube and stuff I am happy they are FINALLY integrating some web features. PS3 and Wii both have web browsers. And Microsoft is the only one that charges you to access free stuff. (Needing a Gold account for Facebook? Really? Psh.)
And I got the Fiero DLC today. My girlfriend was awesome enough to get me some points. I couldn't myself due to AT&T raping me for money. Blah. Everybody is after money.

Ok Guys, I'm a little jelous over this game! I dont currently own an xbox but am truly considering it and the game, my local pawn shop has a few xbox's in stock for like $120, but they vary in memory. so how much memory do i need for this game and to play on line? I doubt i will use it for anything else. Thanks

One thing I like is the way the apps are. Once downloaded you can access them from the "apps menu" or even better the "quick view" menu. This is a time saver (granted only a few seconds) and allows me to find all my unual apps in one place instead of moving to different sections to find them. I can't wait to see youtube and some of the other apps work. I hear sometime in Janurary for those.
Cloud saves are freakin great though.
Unfortunately Forza is not in the budget right now, I got layed off 2 months ago, just got hired back on and haven't received a paycheck yet. To top it off my fridge died on monday. Compressor went out and its $235 just for the replacement part. Then there's christmas....

It fixed itself, today I managed to long on just fine..
So I got the pack, I raced the fiero a few times.. I love it!!!
Although I own an 87, it has some similar handling characteristics.. Just like my car it can be a handful to recover when the back washes out even under throttle, its easy to over correct too much but I've gotten the hang of it. Excellent handling car right out of the box, forza did a fantastic job. Now if only the GT nose has the rib in the center, and the exhaust sound was just a little more deep- it'd be spot on. I'm very happy with it though.

Don't forget the occasional valve-train noises and blue smoke.
Last night Mattwa, Tomski, and I had an absolute blast being complete idiots. Hilarious moment: Tom forgot to tell Matt brake assist was off so while we're racing Matt went full speed into a wall right next to me. I lol'd hard. Then we had a Hummer race around the massive 11 mile Japanese circle.. took us like 15 minutes of pure comedy.
We gotta do that again!

Count me in! I sent a request for the club on live so hopefully I'll be schooling people soon
Btw I only had about 40 mins with the fiero, but I swapped in the LS3 and left everything else stock. I took it to the strip and my best run was a 12.6, I thought it'd go faster. That was out of about 20 runs. I gotta put it back to stock and try how quick I can get the car bone stock.
Its a very well mannered car with the LS3 surprisingly, other cars you swap the engine from something with 250 more hp and they're a handful and can't handle worth a crap..

So I spend a little time to make a window decal for my Fiero... and lo-an-behold Forza doesn't allow window decals? Track racing in daylight hours, and you usually see track cars with window decals in the real world, displaying sponsors or whatever, even sometimes on the headlights. Oh well.

I know it doesn't classify as a 'event', but if we get a set time for PFFers to play Forza together, could it be posted under the events threads? Just curious. Also, I am currently home all day, and if anyone would like to race around with a noob such as myself, I am online as LostChaoticSoul. Probably will be all day.

Yeah I'm not sure why they went down that path - I'm guessing something about how the cars are modelled prevents you applying decals to glass surfaces. If you are working on a muscle car and put on the Forza front dam, you'll notice the headlights become body-coloured... they're no longer glazed, and therefore you can put decals on them.
I would love to put a list of cars I own/have owned with corresponding Forza pictures up, but even now with the '88 in the game, it doesn't look like my '87 SE... and none of my other cars have ever been in games

Ohhh man....... The 86 Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrifoglio Verde. My buddy has this exact car. He tells me about the rare German racing engine that his came with which has been rebuilt, with a custom exhaust. Would be equivalent to one of us finding a true SD4. He has completely restored this car, has a carved bone steering wheel and shifter that he paid some $1500 for. It is truly a beautiful car. He has always wondered what would happen if we were to meet up at the track together, though with all the money he has into this car, he usually drives it like grandma.
Even though I have an '84 4cyl, I may have to get this game just so we can have some fun racing Fiero vs Alfa.

1 as previously pointed out, license plate bulbs. That will fetch you a ticket really quick. 2 non staggered wheels, correct me if I am wrong though, but didn't hey have both staggered wheels and tires? 3 Pontiac not imprinted into the headlight cover.
Yeah sorry I never joined the race! I was fighting a dragon in Skyrim and it was really past my bed time. I am defiantly up for some racing today though!

The non-stagger on the wheels is kind of annoying to me, just because I know that since it's an '88 it should be there. They just kind of look like '86 or '87 GT wheels the way they are. I hadn't noticed the lack of the PONTIAC molded into the driver's headlight door yet. Very observant, Shill.
Also, for those who are interested in the paint schemes available for the Fiero, I finished up the Dingman Bros IMSA GTO car tonight, and just put it up on the storefront for free. Looks like the Huffaker car has around 130 downloads already. Way cool!

Yea, last night racing was so fun, I gotta kick out of the reactions "WTF, MATT!!!", or "Oh no, here comes Matt again, watch your six." everytime. I had more fun with that then I did actually winning anything..which I didn't. Oh, and running into a wall full-bore forgetting about the brakes in a Delorean..priceless. Just...BAM. Then of course there is the Hummer race in the Japan going up a mountain circuit...good times, goooood times.
