I couldn't find any leaderboards for the fiero, but I did a few hot laps. Slowly but surely I'm claiming the categories . I got pissed off cause I spent a good 20 mins chasing after Rourke's time in the C6R.. I was putting down faster times by a good 1.5s but somehow on my fastest times I went off track and never noticed? Same thing happened with blackemerald's time and the DBR9.. I put down an 8 second lead or so and somehow I managed to do a "dirty lap" again without noticing. Oh well when I have some more time and claim the times . At least I registered the fastest lap with the HKS EVO on Tsukuba.
Before I hopped online, I did a handful of career races. I was in the fiero at infineon raceway going at it with an M3/ RX7/ etc. I found it funny cause I got a little loose and hit the M3 while passing through a turn and I got a "clean pass" badge haha..
I still gotta figure out how to be able to download tunes/ cars, hopefully I'll be on tonight so maybe we can mess around

I put down a good time in the time attack, rear wheel drive at Infineon with an '88 Fiero 1 min 29.086 but my thumbs are getting very sore.

The current bane of my existence? Drag racing. There are guys pulling the front wheels off the ground and running 8s and 9s with old Camaros and stuff. I cannot for the life of me figure out how they are doing this. Not mine but a Corvette wheelie

Alright boss, going to look for it and see what I can do . Last night I got so frustrated, I set a few more times in different categories.. Then I went back to the C6R and couldn't put down a clean lap.. I had 2 second leads a few times and every single damn lap I managed to get my wheels off the rumble strips . Hell I was even driving conservatively and giving myself a larger braking threshold and I still couldn't do it.
Silent- I only tried drag racing my Fiero bone stock with the GXP swap, my best time was a 12.6 out of 20 runs. I tried tuning the older hotrods in F3 to get wheelies and hard launches and I could never do it properly . Keep working on it!

Now we know why dirty and confirmed laps have different leaderboards
I didn't even notice that until late last night, I just kept restarting after every time I didn't have a perfect lap.. I should've just finished the laps and collected the CR and XP.

I had about 40 mins to play so I did the Fiero first and then the C6R. Rourke I got about a 1.3 sec lead this time with the C6R, I only had time to do 2 laps and had to get ready for work lol.
I see that almost all of you play with some or most assists on, cmon ramp it up to expert .
Tony Kania- if you see this, I remember you saying somewhere you hold some S class times. I'm not sure what your S/N is on live but the only top times I saw were mostly from Rourke. I wanna see if I can keep up
I looked at the total standings for the C6R at Road America I believe it was, and I'm only in the top 5000 or top 16% of 33,000 players. I have 8 secs to shave off my times to be the best . Time to go to work!!
I know I can shave off a good 2-3 seconds or so compared to the top time I put up today, but still I dunno how I can come close to 8

I play with a Microsoft Wireless Racing Wheel. It doesn't have a clutch pedal, so I don't use a clutch... Auto Clutch is an assist... does that mean I should try bind clutch to a button and be really un-natural about it?

i need to get off this stupid satellite internet and find something faster so i can join the fun.
i haven't played forza since forza 2, i don't remember the manual car shifting so weird, is this something new to F4?
thanks...
Nope it started in F3. Clutch is the L tab, up/downshift are X and B. I remember when I started using it, it took some getting used to.. But once mastered, it can help you get the quickest times- especially braking hard being out of gear/ rev matching.

I have this one set up as an S class currently, and am still getting used to driving it on its current tune. But I am soooo stoked to finally have a Fiero in the FM games.

And the car is actually a fire-breather! I love when it produces a nice backfire out the tail!

Sorry I wasn't able to join in the game last night (GT: SDELJR). Turns out my newer router/modem from Comcast blocked that kinda thing out of the box. It kicked me out and would say something like "Service Unavailable" when I tried to join the lobby again. Long story short, I changed a few settings and that seems to fix the problem, so I should be good to go next time. Sounds like you guys were having a blast.

Also, my Minecraft Fiero. I made the creeper face and the diamond, but got lazy and found stuff on the market place for the rest. This is my A-class beast.
