Edit: Got a bit over an hour drive to get there...

And how late are we going to keep working? The spouse is asking how long I will be gone...

I believe that Dean normally opens the shop around 9:00 am. However, he is the only one who can answer this question accurately.

I see the 6-cyl wiring harness is still on the parts needed list.... is this true? It is a pretty MAJOR obstacle if this is the case....

Apparently, no longer have the OEM unit. But, I do have the CD unit. I'm not sure what I pulled it out of (I think my SE), but the wiring is there and should be plug-n-play (assuming it came out of the SE). I also have 24" speakers and all kinds of misc. trim pieces (hopefully one will be correct).

I will bring one O&M unit plus one other for spare parts. They will be available to anyone who needs them if they do not get used in the car project.

If that was meant to be Two 4 inch speakers, the 85 doesn't have clearance for B pillar speakers, and if the interior is staying light gray as stated, there are no speaker grills on the B pillar. It was set up for speakers in the seats, only.

On the after market radio.... I have a conversion harness to make it polygon onto factory wires. Even have some factory wires with connectors that canberra soldered in if the originals are boogered up.

Have some plastic bezel surrounds but I have to verify the fit to see if they are gm or not. At least I found them... ugh...

Good morning everyone! Well for me anyways....... just woke up. I had to force myself to try to get a few hours sleep after work today. It was that or have to stay up from this morning till tomorrow night. I have to be up at 3am to get ready to go to the airport. Flight is 5:30, thus be at the airport at 4:30, half hour away, so that's leave the house at 4am.

Gonna wind up being there a day early, as the price was far cheaper to fly on a Friday than a Saturday. WIll give me a chance to hopefully stop by the shop and check things out before Saturday.

My phone number, for anyone that would want or need it is fife six one, too three six, 7 oh 2 fore.

on the weekend I normaly do not come in till 10:30 becaues it is normaly the only rest I get but for the build things will start at 9 am.
this will give everyone time to get up, coffee, food and wake up. mostly me!
but I have no problem staying late and I will most likely be a little early so I can get the shop open and running.

We are having a bit of a debate at the house... If I come alone I can be there first thing in the AM when you guys get rolling. But the spouse has an eye appointment at 9 and has to get dilated & she does not have a ride home... She normally can't see to drive after. So if I take her & bring her home then she can come and help out too...

She is convinced herself however, that she will be just be in the way and does not have the technical ability to help. I say there has to be something she can help with (she has more ability then she lets on)...

So I will be missing for a few hours in the AM, but I will bring a second set of hands...Whatcha think?

OK the teaser before the event

Here's what we are bringing:

Saftiger Gugel-hupf (Very moist apple cake with walnuts and chocolate sprinkles and glazed with Nutela)
