Ooookaaaay. I see I accidentally uploaded an old version of the file filter meaning if would block anything if the extension wasn't "jpg" or "gif". Meaning it would also block "JPG" (uppercase). Fixing that now.

Sorry. My bad. Move along. Nothing to see here. These are not the droids you're looking for.

say, i dont know if this is anything, but i noticed that when i click a title read it and hit the "back" arrow or the "back to GFT" page it does not Un-highlight the title as if i had looked at it.....does that make sence??

the 2 PIP red X topics and just now i hit the "hidden VIN plate#" thread and its still "bright" as if i did not enter it, heck i even posted in it.

i got a new(er)computer so i am sure its on "My" end but it just started doing it a few days ago.....which is in time with these recent PIP problems.

hope this helps......good luck and THANK YOU, Cliff for all your great work here on the PFF

Daniel-
Mera X

Now it works fine. Its amazing that the filter is case sensitive. I would have thought that whether it be .jpg or .JPG wouldn't have made any difference. Anyway, thanks for fixing that issue Cliff.

Heres why

Why is linux case sensitive?

Linux is case sensitive because 'a' and 'A' are different as far as the OS is concerned. Historically, MS-DOS only used uppercase to represent filenames. In an attempt to allow lowercase while retaining backward compatibility, Windows 95 introduced LFNs (Long File Name) into the FAT filesystem. LFN allowed filenames longer than the MS-DOS 8.3, and in an effort to keep things uncomplicated, made no distinction between upper and lower case letters.

Yes, that's normal behavior. Don't want to pay a few hundred dollars per year just so Windows won't show that pop-up.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. You say the program starts up (you see the PIP window), but get an error message somewhere?
