Kevin, I used a Historical Plate on my 64 El Camino for years and never got looked at twice. I like the "Blue MI plate" (Authentic plate) due to you do not have to pay a yearly registration fee for as long as you own the car. I have a 85 and a 86 registered with Authentic plates and have had no problems. I drive the 85 about 10K miles a year,

Hey Jack,

Appreciate your experience with the "Blue" plates. I' m thinking I'll go with the Blue, just need to find one with the '87 year tag. Possibly find a tag alone that I can put on one of the Blue plates I have here. Any chance you know anyone with a blue '87 tagged plate, or a '87 tag?

Thanks
Kevin
