damn, the 345/25/20's are $415 each! That kinda scares me to get bigger rims
Alternatives: 20x10-11 rim. 305/25/20-----cheaper @ $300 20x9 rim. Tires 275/30/20, 285/30/20. Prices range from 250-300 20x8.5 rim. Tires 245/35/20, 255/35/20. Prices range from 240-260-ish 20x8 rim. Tires 245/35/20-------too small for the rear-end look IMO. Prices $240-260
The Tire Rack has the cheapest deals IMO. If you know someone who is sponsered is even better!
A friend has (2) Toyo Proxes T1-S 265/30/19. Brand new fore sale! They are too small for my N* rear wheel application. They are less than 25.5 diameter.
Edit: I own this pg, hhehehe.

*edit: lmfao i didnt even knowtice there was a rim in the background till i posted hahaha
Yeah, I asked her to move but, she wouldn't hehe. Anyway, the blue-ish rim was unique in that it contained a chrome painted surface.
Over-all most of the rims featured were HRE's and Makavelie's. Dub's or 20's were the standard for most imports and 22" rears for American and high-end euro cars. Most were rolling on 295/25/22.

Hey Curley great info. I will try to use this info to fill out the IRM kit. I know that the wheel wells will have to be modified to fit a 19/20 combo, but stuck on rear size 20 x 11 or 12.

Hmm. #15 has 20x11 on 305/25/20 and they stick out by 3". I don't know the deepth of the IRM wide body kit but it seem wider than mine? If so, a 20x12 would fit nicely using a 345/25/20. I have a set for the Stealth fiero.

Headsup: Hey Troyboy. Tire Rack has a new size DUBish tire....a 325/25/20 w/hw for laterial support. Rim width ranges are 11-12" Diameter 26.4 The side is is higher than the 305/25/20 but less vs the 345/25/20. The tire isn't listed on their web site yet.

Yeah, I was checking out Makaveli rims at the SEMA show 2005. Nice rims but some of them are "knock-offs" from HRE's design. The Maya rims are truly nice. I like these rims and the meat that's is wraped around them.

is that a wide body kit on the lambo? nice wheels... rear's are 325's?? 335's??
I don't know? I asked the same questions too but didn't get a answer. My quess is--- due to the side walls on the rear, maybe they are 295/25/20, 295/21/21, or 285/25/20? Fronts could be 245/30/19, or 245/30/20?

Curly, what are you running on the front? I'm planning on doing 20x10's in the rear, and I'm going to squeeze some 285 / 25's in there, I was thinking 245/30 R20 front, will that fit? Basically I want to run this:
Front 18x8 Wheel 245/35 R18 Tire
Rear 20x10 Wheel 285/30 R20 Tire
If those fit, the wheel I'll most likely be investing in will be the Billet Specialties SLX45. They're not available in 19" sizes, so I'd have to go with a pretty hardcore stagger, 18"F / 20"R. I can get completely set up with all four wheels and all four tires for around $3,500, so it's a lot cheaper than the HREs, Mayas and Machiavellis. They're still machined per customer, so I should be able to get a 5x100 bolt pattern too. If not, I guess I'll be upgrading my hubs to C4 or C5. I was planning on doing that anyway.
I got waaaaaaaay off topic there. The only thing I really wanted to know was that's the fattest tire that fits up front? I'm thinking 245, will it fit?
EDIT: Updated the tire sizes after some research. The tires I'm looking at are BFGoodrich G-Force T/A's.

kool rims. Are you going wide body in the rear to fit 20 x 10's ?
I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to, those wheels probably stick out around 2", so I'll probably steal Curly's custom widebody he put onto Choptop #15. I'll do the front and rear to make sure I keep it even.
Here's a pic for anybody interested:

Yes. The Bullet's will be cheaper and they usually make them to customer's specs. Onto your question as to "what's the fattest fronts" I've found that if you remain under the 25.1 for the fronts diameter you're okay....given the correct off-set. The 245/30/18 must be a new tire? Anyway if it is being produce it's most likely a 24.7 diameter?
However, what I've found that works for the fronts are: 255/30/19, 235/35/19, & 225/35/19. All of which range from 25.0-25.1 give or take .1 +/- but that being said, a 245/30/18 would fit too at 24.7.
To be sure about the correct diameter check The Tire Rack.

Actually, the Redux fender flare less compared to #015 choptop. A 20x10 38-35mm should be enough "lip" for clearance. Btw those Bullets look similar to Jims88GT.

Interesting... I don't think I've seen the Redux flares, got a thread or pictures handy Curly?

No, you're right... I meant 245/35 R18. I'm checking the Tire Rack now to make sure I can do that, to make sure the diameters are copasetic.
EDIT: Just checked the Tire Rack. The diameter for a 245/35 R18 is 24.7", so you were right there too. The rears I want though, are going to be 285/30 R20, at 26.7" overall diameter, so it's a 2" stagger between the front and rear. Should look pretty good. I can get BFGoodrich G-Force T/A's in the sizes I want, (285/30 R20, and 245/35 R18) for a grand total of $952. Then I can get the Billet Specialties wheels for $623.75 apiece Rear, and $485 apiece Front. That brings my entire Wheel/Tire pacakge grand total to $3,169.50. Not too shabby for custom-machined Aluminum Alloy wheels, eh?

Curly, you must be gettin old!! Those billet specialties wheels look nothing like the Budniks I'm running (Mine have no rivets, no slots in the spokes, and a raduised lip)
I'm running a 235 tire up front tucked in as far as possible - I wouldn't want to try a 245 because it would have to be moved outboard to avoid rubbing at full lock. See ya in Daytona!

Thanks for that info on the Redux Curly... I think that method of widening the rear should be sufficient. I'm going to be running a 9" wheel in the front, so I should be able to tuck those into the front fenders nicely. If not, oh well... I'll have to do your widebody all-around, which is alright with me.

I found the Boyd Coddington "Blaster" too... Looks a lot like Curly's HRE's, but less than half the price. The only bad part is that the fattest width they come in is 9.5", though the tires I was looking at (285/30 R20 BFGoodrich G-Force T/A KDW) actually fit a 95" wheel. Yes! Sounds good to me. So now I've got to becide between the Billet Specialties, and the Boyd Coddingtons. Hmm...
Here's the Boyds for those who are interested:
EDIT: Forgot to mention this. Here's a really cool link that allows you to put wheels on your car and adjust wheel size, tire thickness, ride height and color. It's kinda like the Tire Rack, but it's better, cause it actually lets you pick the wheels/tires you want. Oh, almost forgot... That program's got not only a Notchie, but a Fasty too!

Link didn't work?
Anyway, IMO both rims look very nice and both have the "hot Rod-ish" feel. But I think the Bullet Specialties "win" cause the sizes avalialble But still it's a toss-up

Nope. Ain't gona work in the front w/o body modification (fender flaring). The fronts on the Redux are 19x9.

Ooh, I'm in love... How much? The prices all say "call", which means waaaay too much for me, lol. I'm placing a cap of around $5,000 for wheels and tires, simply because I don't want to spend more on my rollers than the thing that makes them spin.
EDIT: Uhh Curley, those wheels are only available in 20x7.5, and 20x13! That's freakin' massive!

Ahh...sorry about that. Check the other post too. It list sizes from 15-22" rims. I called a rep and he said the price for a 19x8 was about 800 per rims (I think?). I'll call again on Saturday for 19x8 and 20x11.
