About the "story" , please don't hurry me.I need to organize my archives before.
Well get on it! heeheehe. Maybe you can ask Songman to archive them for you? I notice the northstar 32 valve logo in the corners. Question: do you have any pics of the duel pipe set-up?

All that beautiful work, and he still uses the stock heater controlls and parking light switches
Any particular reason why those weren't swapped out for something else? Me not knowing a thing about wiring those types of things, hope that wasn't a dumb question. That interior's got a CRAZY amount of nice curves! Just beautiful.

True, he could have used any kind of switch in the world for the headlight, and swapped heater controls, but maybe working with fiberglass is his specialty so that's where he focused his energy.
I'm just the opposite, I have all kinds of crazy electrical mods in my car but I struggle with sanding the bondo smooth enough to look decent.

wish i knew how to do it.. but here goes another money maker to someone else.. Overlays for the havac controls. where you pop of the knobs and such and put a sticker over the old grey. That has the labels printed on them (we're talking nicely done though). I always said in my head the guys that do the gauge overlays really needed to do the same for this. then they got something... Well someone run with my idea.. cause I need 2 of them.. LOL
OK back to drooling over the car!!

First MadCurls car and now this one! How are we supposed to keep up? This is the awesomest Fiero, I mean, CAR i have seen in a long long time. I saw the car originally at when it was red at carlisle 4 or 5 years ago. Wasn't really impressed with it then...but now? I'd give my left nut have that car. Well maybe. But any how is it going to be at carlisle this year? And what are those bars hanging down from the mufflers in the rear shot. Are they some kinda wheelie bars or sumthing? Or curb feelers?
Lildevil The bars hanging down from the muflers are vinyl material with a lighting rod that lights up. I saw the car at night after the award ceremony in Daytona and there was a small crowd of people looking at the car. That car has more lights than any other show car I have ever seen. It has neon, strove lights, LED lights, it is definetly a real attention getter. I wish someone had a picture of what it looks like at night, with all the lights on.

The plazma is really nice. The guy at Daytona claimed it was a one off...although it's obviously based on the Pyranha of which several copies exist.
It's hard to say "the guy" about 51 year old man...thank you for the compliment any way. When I say "one of a kind" I'm talking not about styling aspects only, but also about such a components as powertrain, suspensions, brakes, power steering, engine managment systems, wheels, electronics, performance etc, ets, ets. Needless to explain that the presence and differences of those components makes Plazma the very unique and outstanding car, I call"one off"... Now,about different interiors. All of them, except "black one"-it's just a dark image of the grey one, created, handlied and upholstered by my self(24 years fiberglass business experience). The black Laura3 was nothing other then rolling model with tons of putty and 4 cylinder engine. I spent few months of my life " catching microns" of entire surface only. And I never claimed I was the only one who was involved in the project.Three of us in 1994 came to U.S. to start the project. But Plazma-Piranha was built by my self.
PS - Don't worry about the upper door skin edge not following the stock line. We can do something about that. Btw, VERY nice work!
Greg[/QUOTE]I never worryed about the edge differences .The door panel opening could be easily hiden with tinted window. And of course the window down travel must be limited.

It is hard to imagine all of the work involved.....was this like a fulltime job for you?
Sometimes fulltime, sometimes parttime. For example conversion Piranha into Plazma took about 10 month of fulltime job.And I'm talking about 12 hours day,7days week ,no vacations !

Well,I just wanted to do interior electrical swap easier for you, people. By the way, I did all the electrical swap- conversion job in my car by my self as well as the other kind of jobs.

Plazma Man, your Plazma/Piranha/Laura is an amazing creation. Obviously it is a one of a kind and easily the nicest home built Fiero re-body yet to be created. Your ability to mold fiberglass is obviously among the best in the world.
As you reveal parts of the story to us it all begins to make sense how different versions of the Piranha came to be created. Thanks for sharing it with us and we anxiously await more details of the story. And also I hope you find serious backers to help you bring it to the market. Based on the interest here I think you would be able to sell quite a few of them.

I'm gonna be there. Those things under neath are the rubber-metal antistatics.
I want one, but I talked to dad. How much do you need to get this up and running?
But it looks BAD-ASS. I think it would be better with a LT1 though

It's an aftemarket carbon fiber spoiler which you can buy on EBAY.

Well, I know it's an aftermarket one, but do you know who made it? Or mabie even what model it is? The whole car looks nice though! If the wiring were simple, I'd like to see/get an interior kit...but if it requires that kind of wiring...I'd have to pass, lol! That's ALOT of wires!!!

Try item #2477596366 on eBay. Those jungles for my applications only.Interior swap for stock Fiero requires only simple changes like power window swich replacement and new radio adaptation.

Ahhh....whats! little '"wires" don't scare me. hehehhe. One can always use Dakata Digital set-ups instead of the listed here. Beside Auto meter or other various gauges may can be installed? its way simpler vs all of that.

Your car is one of the main reasons why I originally got into Fieros. I still have a picture of your car in its red form from a 90s Kit Car magazine hanging up.
If you need help making exterior body molds, I am experienced with composites and can help you.
If you need someone to host pics, I can host them, just email them to me.

I know your head is probably about to explode with all this praise, but I might as well join in.
This car is even more beautiful than the original (red) one!
I love it too.
Regarding the anti-static straps, we sell them at the parts store I work at, lots of other places carry them too. I could have used one on my '98 S-10. The stupid thing used to zap me every time I got out. I'd make sure I touched the metal body with the key every time I got out of it, otherwise it would zap me hard.
Some people say they used to feel sick driving until they installed one of those straps. Dunno about that myself though.

Thank you for your interest. I'd like to collect all the issues containing something about Piranha. The only one I have is with the article named "From Russia with love". Will be appreciated it if someone can help me. I'll try to send you some high resolution pics while Mr.JScott1 installs the additional server.
