If these were available I'd try it out for sure. I think I'd try for a 355 nose though

Has anyone else checked into this fiero body kit? I'm eager to see how it turns out when some one buys one. Hopefully when it happens they'll put up a build thread. I've read through this thread a few times and each time i do, it just makes me want one of these kits myself.
I would buy one of those kits for myself but i'm a poor college student with lots of schooling as well as grad school. Hope some one can pick up where alex left off in his memory.

The Plazma was never offered as a kit. It was the dream of Alex to get it out to the public, but it never happened. The Plazma is a one off legend.

Hmmmm......I think I've seen about three or four of these cars kickin around on the net.....am I right? Once called Laura, and/or Pirahna!!
I know I've seen a red, yellow, and blue......I'm pretty sure Alex's car wasn't repainted that many times. He modified his car quite a bit, but the original kit was made more than once.
I would love to find out who has there hands on those cars!!
Here's the yellow one!

This question has been asked many times, "how can there have been so many different pictures of the Pyranha in different colors if it's not a kit?"

I asked that very question to the man himself, Alex, and he told me that many of the pictures you see floating around the net are clay models or bucks, and not finished cars. The Laura, Pyranha, Plazma are indeed the same car. Alex's partners in Russia tried to market the kit, and as far as I know never actually sold any.

That nose looks like a modified '97 Firebird Formula nose...
The rear is kinda like the widebody coupe rears I've seen, but with some smoothening...

I can't explain the presence of all the Plazma/ Laura/ Pyranha's out there, I only know what Alex told me before he passed on.

The true story may never be known, but I don't think I would send thousands of my hard earned money to Russia expecting to get a kit from a person I don't know.

speed bump....

I didnt' have time to read through all of it but:

a.) is this being sold as a kit
b.) If not.. why?
c.) If so, how much, and where can i get it

Id love to have one of these cuz with something like the 355 kit, you'd have to explain that NO its not a ferrari, atleast with this its unique. Can someone simplify the story on this bad boy?

Ten years ago, the "kit" was $15 K if I remember, that was one reason it never sold. This is what it looked like in 1997.

The latest version had a Northstar V8, a big sound system etc and a one of a kind car too pricey for most Fiero people.

Dragon saw it somewhere in Palm Bay, I haven't seen it around on the streets. Probably it is stuffed in a garage (like mine) somewhere.

That thing is hideous. But I like the interior. It looks like an MR2 with a Grand Am interior.

Everyone's entitled to an opinion, but I see no resemblence to an MR2 or a Grand Am interior.
