The Pirahna was built in Russia and shipped to the USA. It is possible that the molds are still over there and that the other car was made for the European market and used for promotional purposes. IMO the Pirahna was an ill conceived idea. Coming out with a brand new kit for an old car that was made in limited quantities probably meant failure before a start. We will never know as Alex is no longer with us. His legacy remains the only N* powered Pirahna prototype.

The Laura was Alex's first design, back in Russia. That car later devloped into the Pirahna. Alex tried to sell it here, but something happened between him and his European partners. Several years later, Alex refined the design and built the Plazma. He was shopping this design around when he passed.

I can’t imagine that I am the only one that is not impressed with the design. It is too busy. The wing and the exhaust are pure ricer. The tail lights belong on a Willis hot rod. The front end is cluttered and what the heck is that crepe on the front deck lid?

No, the car isn't to everyone's taste. I think some of it IS a bit over the top myself...
BUT, a smoother body line, no windows in the hood, and some toning down, and you have a very good looking car that is unique.

Very close to what I was thinking. Hate the spoiler If I ever bought a car with that stupid looking exhaust on it I would carry something with me to cut them off because I wouldn't let myself be seen driving a car with those ricer pipes on it. (I got stuck in traffic today with some old 4 door honda lowered to the ground with one of those on it (sticking out at least 6" past the bumper) blowing a constant cloud of smoke and backfiring everytime he shifted gears. I didn't know whether to laugh or puke) The front isn't too bad with the exception of the hood (just dumb looking to me) The tail lights aren't bad (not the way I would have designed it but not disgusting)
