Last i heard wasn't he having some kind of mechanical issue ?
i saw an old thread where he was liking the side vents and rockers from that silver GT over in Germany. Not sure if that is still in his plans but they (the German fiero parts guys) are supposed to be opening a shop here in the U.S. soon.
Once he gets some nice rims on that bad boy it is really going to look hot !

I'm home in North Carolina, safe and sound. The trip was great and the car is phenominal! Driving 80mph through the mountains of West Virginia is a helluva lot of fun!
More later. Sleep now.
and you didnt even get to drive on any of the fun roads!!!!
im going to tell ya, RT 60, between gauley bridge and rainelle WV is probably the funnest 60 miles of road you'll get to drive on, some straight stretches where you can get up into the 130's and some twistes that make indy car drivers go mad!
also RT 52 between williamson WV and princeton/bluefield WV is pretty freaking crazy too, but several small towns in there also.
anyway, hope you liked our highways.

Not much recently. I have any electrical problem that's draining my battery. I don't have the tools I need to troubleshoot it and I don't have the money to get it fixed . It's a damn shame too! I really want to drive her again.

do your headlights work smoothly?????? I have one headlight motor on the Predator that will drain the battery in a coulpe of days if you don't drive it or disconnect it. I use a quick disconnect on it .

I had this happen in my 84. If the motor is not 100% of the way down it is still getting a little juice. If you unplug the headlight and the problem goes away your set.
I'm looking forward to seeing this beauty completed in 2006.

Give me a call at the shop on Monday & I'll give you some methods of testing it without spending a bunch of $$ on tools.

Glad to hear you are ok, was getting a bit concerned had not heard from you in a while. Hope you get the mechanical issues resolved and get back on the road.
I think everybody here fully understands money issues when it comes to fixing up our fieros hehehe.

Thanks for all the replies! You guys are the best.
I bought a new battery yesterday and it wouldn't turn the car over, so I'm leaning toward the starter right now, and I think that rules out the lights and the trunk switch.
Archie, thanks very much for the offer! I'll give you a call.
Cheers, Dowdian

I found a few pics of cars with that "Arrest Me Red" paint and your right, it is beautiful. I couldn't find any pics of the other, do you know where I could find an example?. Thanks for the tip!
Steve Saleen has produced a nice shade of red called "Liz-stick Red" in honor of his wife. My fav for red hues.
I am still here, just not as often as I once was. Thanks to all of you for keeping this thread alive. I'm looking forward to seeing you guys in Chicago this September!
