Man, that is one damn sweet looking Notchie!!!!

Judging from the Video, I would be willing to bet the car is either in Phoenix, AZ (More likely) or possibly in Las Vegas.

Why not leave him a comment on the video, and I am sure he would probably respond. The video is only 4 months old....

I might get hung out to dry for saying this, but it reminds me of the last generation of Prelude as far as stance goes. VERY nice indeed. Not much of a notchie guy myself but would definitely own that one.

Question one: Did he eliminate his side moldings? Question two: Does he have a slight chop? Maybe it is just an optical illusion Question three: Is running 17's or 18's? It is hard to tell? Question four: Behind the rear wheels, there are side molding extension. Where can one get those? They look cool. Damn, the whole car looks cool I hope the owner checks in so we can see more!

Cordially,
Kevin

Nice car. Looks like a drop, one-off body kit, air dam, side skirts, rear bumper cover thingies. Looks like a fox-body Saleen convertible wing, kinda fits the notchy. Wheels fit the car, and the black paint ties it all together. I'd drive it.

I noticed he hasn't responded to any of the other comments on his video, so that may not work. That is a very unique look! I've always preferred the notchbacks myself.

Looks a lot lowered with very big wheels, I will say 19 or 20.

erased molding

added under car skirts too.

Beautiful car, crap video.

As bad as the last video was, it's at least a little better than his first effort.

It does look like a slight chop to me...good call. And the molding delete is sweet! I didn't notice that at first but since one of you pointed it out. Looks super clean. I've never seen that before, anyone else? Great skirts too. This might be my favorite Fiero ever.

Yeah Guys....

that is what I thought when I saw the video.... gorgeous car. Someone mentioned the trim delete, is it really deleted or is it just hard to see it in the pictures? Was hoping someone could point me to the body kit he used. I also thought that wing looked like a saleen wing which is one of my favorite on the 5.0's Man would I love to have a car that looked that slick... really really nice!! I wonder what engine he has in it..... those wheels really make the car look sinister.... of course the black paint does not hurt any either....SAWEET!!!

Well I posted some comments on the video and he responded tonight. I told him I put a link to his video on here and maybe he will find his way here. The wing he verified is a saleen convertible mustang wing and the body kit he made himself. Apparently he used to work on Lamborghini kit cars..... the boy has skills!! Hopefully he will post here so we can pick his brain about this awesome notchback.... peace

sadly it seems this car has been recently cut up to build one of these.

http://gagliardidesign.com/

Not a bad choice at all, but for the money and with his skills i would have just improved on the fiero.

The wheels look like the ones on Chris Moores old Northstar Convertible Fiero ?

I think they were zanetti ??

You know, looking at this car, the only thing I have an issue with is the fact that it's sitting like an inch off the ground. I love the stance and the ground effects, but the car is a little too low to be anything other than a showcar. Beautiful, but definitely not functional in my mind. We should definitely try to talk him into building a kit though. As I type this, madcurl has probably already Paypal'd him and is waiting for shipment LOL.

Add a skirt or change your current skirt and watch your car transform.
Only problem with this is you must use a straight skirt or modifing your doors to match turns into big job.
The car is not lowered any more than 1.5 inches and sits on 18's and looks great.
I think most fieros with lower ground effects look better i love how mine looks with Pontiac GTO skirts.

I am sorry if I goofed on the name but I could have sworn I saw somewhere that this was a forum started by Jeff Pennock? Perhaps I was misreading something... I am new here after all..... sorry for the cornfusion.....

That Vendetta kit is definitely something to be desired but I am not sure I would have cut up a gorgeous fiero like that to build one. You can buy cheap fieros all over the internet that need work for a couple hundred bucks..... perhaps we can talk this fella into making a kit for sale as I for one would love for my new fiero to look like that one.... peace

So what window can you tint? The rear only why bother on any car. Never tint the windsreen you will never clean it.
May as well say tint is completly illegal. What is the percentage of tint allowed> In Australia I believe it is 30% here max.

Yeah apparently he did cut this beautiful notchie up to make a kit car..... bummer man... bummer...

Hey guys,
I am on the search currently for a nice fiero which will be my first one ever. Today my daughter told me of a fellow that has three of them and wants to sell one. I went over to drive it today and there is good news and bad news..... The good news is that the car has like 96k on it and the interior is in wonderful shape other than the headliner and the car runs real good. the bad news is that the paint job is totally hosed.....

This is an 86 sev6 notchie.... I am planning on a lot of body mods to try to make the car resemble this black beauty above so the paint does not bother me really. The real good news is that I finally got to drive a nice runnning v6 fiero for the first time. MAN IS THIS A FUN CAR TO DRIVE!!! This car handles like it is on rails and is pretty quick for a stock car. He just had the ac redone and the only thing that did not work right was the left headlight assembly was kinda sticking, it went up but not fast and then it would not go back down. Kinda weird headlights but I love pop ups....

Anyways, just wondering what you guys think, 86 notch, v6 four speed, horribly faded paint job but no damage to the body, clean interior, the little plastic windows on the sides of the car were kinda cracked, the engine looked real clean as did the trunk area. It even had the little sunroof wing thingy under the hood still. He has the slotted pontiac 14" rims with new tires for $1500.00 or with the same rims but slightly less new tires for $1250.00 asking price... 96k original miles( and after driving it I think it is true),,,, good deal or not and would you try to talk him down? peace

Ok guys the owner of the car has signed up for the forum, but cannot post yet (?), but anyways he sent me an email and asked me to post this for him, his name is kurt.

" I signed up but cant post yet so can you post this for me HI guys I am glad you like the Black Notchie. I built this car in 2 weeks for all you folks it is a stock body with my kit design. I painted the car myself and all moldings where shot same color as car to hide them. The body kit is completely flexible like the car body with real carbon fiber sicker over it so it flexes when you put the jack under the car or over a big speed bump nice design. The body kit screws right to the bottom of the GT body kit making it about 2.5" lower and still be above the rim. The rims are 18x8.5 Polised the caliper myself. Adjustable coil overs in front and in back double springs up front for better handling. The Saleen convert wing with rear view camera in third tail lite really help hold the rear down and great for seeing through the wing and a another cam up front so I dont hit the parking tire stops. Racing seats with 3" lap belts inside with custom steering wheel shift knob and complete dvd system with rear/front camera through the custom stereo its the sixth one I have built just like it so dont fret total cost to put this Notchie togther was only 2500.00 including the car. I will build kits if you would like. once my scanner is up I will post pics and magazine articals that I have ben in like Kit Car March 04 Cover car the Vivacious Vette that I built for Exotic Rebodies. I used to post on Lambo Lounge and Dales site with My Lambo kits. The Black Notchie was turboed my own design no hook up to the exhaust pipes at all figure that one out. I was a designer for Paxton and Vortec I Designed supercharger and turbo kits for Civic, Nsx, Eclips and 240SX I will post some of those pics as well. I can make anything you or I can draw up so I will be glad to help out . I have had 17 Fieros all Notchies but 2 but I always Love the Notchies myself they always draw a crowd whee ever I go and I am looking for another one for build up Black Notchie #6. The one I cut is not going to get the Vendetta kit but another one of my own designs insted so I will post pics on this site for you guys."

Thanks Kurt

Honestly, unless I'm completely missing something, that Fiero looks like a 100% stock 85 Fiero GT or 86-87 SE with the exception that it has skirt extensions and a fox-body wing on the decklid. It looks chopped because the wheels are bigger, but I don't even think the car is lowered. I think he just has large wheels with narrow tires and fender extensions that make it look like it's on the ground.

It's nice looking, but it's really not that far from stock (which for the people who want to do something similar, it wouldn't be difficult).

That is part of the reason why it looks so good. I like subtle changes done, not the whole rebodies or stuff other people do.

I agree, I think that the major reason I liked the looks of this car was because it looked very stock.... I would definitely be interested in a set of the ground effects he spoke about especially if they are curb proof as he described. I checked online and that saleen wing or at least a good copy is like $120.00.... Sure wish he had not torn it apart so we could see more pics of the car up close. Video kinda sucks..... The white GT is nice but I gotta agree again, that coupe was just wicked looking.... The mods he did also sound pretty cool but I gonna hafta wait to see what he says for himself when he gets on the forum....sounds like a cool guy and a fiero guy too.... peace

I think they were zanetti ??

Hmmph......Chris hasn't owned that car in almost 7 years. While it technically is his old car, it is also my old car (where's the respect? ). The wheels were made by Akusa......18x8's on all four corners (front lower a-arms were modified for clearance). I sold it in 2006 and it is now silver....I believe the same wheels are still on it though, which is good....I think they look very nice on that car (no matter what color it is).
