The sides and rear only took 20 minutes to install Th front is the hardest to do but if iI make it all in kit form install time is about 1 hour. The sides and rearend cost about 150.00.

I can not wait to see the pictures of that Smoken Hot Notchie
Well apparently there was some confusion about the fate of the notchie.
Apparently Kurt did not cut it up for the Vendetta kit, (i guess he is using another car for that ?), but rather he cut it up for a fiero of his own taste and style !

That is a creative use of a 4rth Gen Firebird rear window. I can't say the look of the Fiero is unpleasing to the eye. I kind of like it in a strange way. Not bad.
I picked up a set of the big scooped side skirts with the rocker for the car. I think the rear will be about 10" wider than stock. Thanks for the photo shop work it looks great pretty darn close to what it will look like. I might put the lambo front windshield on can you add that thanks Kurt

The lambo windshield? Here is an interior for you. I will try to find a lambo windshield that will work.
I am really intrigued by that shape. I am a little sad that such a nice notchie got cut up but if the project makes it all the way to completion that is a roadster I wouldn't mind having in my garage.
I gotta say it though, if your gonna put rims like that on a car the first thing that has to go are those lame little brakes. Not just for looks but performance too!

The concept looks pretty cool. I don't think that window is very safe to use, though. Isn't back glass just like the side windows? As in, it will shatter instead of crack if something hit it. Windshields are made for the abuse of road debris. I would rethink using that hatch for a windshield.

The window is coated with a protected mylar film to prevent it from turning into a shot gun. This is not the first one that I have done. I did learn my lesson the first time when a lug nut went through it. But it is nice to know you guys are on top of the ball on safety and looking out for others. I do know a company that could do a complete canopy from plane wingshield stock. Thanks Kurt PS this fiero was the first in this design series in1998

Pete, you've got great taste! I love the looks of this car...I've got my eye on a 88' base coupe with a 2.5 Duke in it as a project car for my son and I, and the Saleen Spoiler on the rear of this ride is exactly what I've been looking for to add to the potential project. Thanks guys for resurrecting this thread!

Yeah man that is one gorgeous or rather WAS one gorgeous notchie. I was quite surprised at how well that saleen mustang wing fit and looked on the car. Just about perfect IMHO.... I Nearly bought a notchie and had I gotten one instead of the 86GT I have here that would be what I did to it. I think the wheels and the skirts also complete a very slick fiero. I liked the wheels so much I bought the same ones for my car... peace
Honestly, unless I'm completely missing something, that Fiero looks like a 100% stock 85 Fiero GT or 86-87 SE with the exception that it has skirt extensions and a fox-body wing on the decklid. It looks chopped because the wheels are bigger, but I don't even think the car is lowered. I think he just has large wheels with narrow tires and fender extensions that make it look like it's on the ground.
It's nice looking, but it's really not that far from stock (which for the people who want to do something similar, it wouldn't be difficult).
You just cant tell from low res photos or really bad cellphone video...
It's a neat idea, but I dont think it's as custom as everyone is thinking. 40 feet away in a fuzzy low res video looks a lot different when you are 3 feet away in person.
From what I can tell myself is that it's simply someone that is skilled with proper car techniques. not overdoing things and it works well.

Well KurtMylar? What is the status of this project? I am about ready to start building my own version of this notchie and I would love to see what has become of this once beautiful car and also would like to talk to you about possibly making me a set of those cool ground effects. Do they have to be CF or can they be painted to match my white car? Kurt man are YA STILL OUT THERE??!! hehe peace

My Lambo clone uses a Nissan Maxima windshield. If I remember right, f355spider is using a Sebring windshield in his chop top/t-top. One of those might work for you.
