OK... So im the one that is making stuff up here???
If you cant make boost on it reliably then it hasnt been tuned.. any "tune" that is called a tune will work without any adjustments unless there is a mechanical problem. There is nothing different you need to "tune" to put a turbo on it..... they come stock with a supercharger.....

Here's that comprehension issue of yours again. Justin asked if it was making boost, and I was trying to explain that it needed to be dyno tuned before it was pushed hard. I said what I said because I knew it hadn't been to the dyno yet. I wasn't really considering the base tune, so It was my ignorance at play. Is this that hard to understand? No one cares enough about your opinion to lie about anything to you. Don't you have a 9 second timeslip to go get? These other "slow" 3800's shouldn't even be worth your attention right?
TXOPIE, update us.... Is Pepto still looking like Pepto?

I've tuned more turbo cars than you and definitely built more supercharged and turbo cars.....audis, BMWs, Mercedes, Porsche, MINIs, VWs...and when im not at my day job, I tune Fieros, take classes to learn about the newest automotive technology so I can keep my reputation as one of the top diagnosticians in NJ. I also mentor and teach diagnostic theory.......Tuning? That's the easy part. Dave

I apologize to the O.P. of this thread. Somehow we got sucked into playing with dark horizon again. I wont post anything additional off topic in this thread. Dave
I hope you don't think that we are hating. (at least i'm not). We are all on the same team and just anxious to see another successful 3800 turbo fiero. It's hard to convince others that it really is a simple straight forward upgrade in performance when you guys are struggling to get it done.
Have you had any luck getting this car back on the road? I know you were very disappointed with it but it does not appear to need that much to get it back together right... Have not called you back because I had to have an appendectomy and just got out of the hospital. Gonna take me a week or three to fully recover they say but I feel much better now. Anyways, hope you get this sorted out as you wish. Peace
Pete

Sorry everyone, I was in Atlanta on business and got back late this week...so not a lot of progress on "Pepto" as we shall call it till the repaint.
Upgrades to "Pepto" since I purchased:
* Installed Kenwood 10" sub-woofer in center glove box * Installed Alpine Amp to power the sub. * Installed Kenwood HD tuner * Hunted down (hardest part) R12 Freon (4 sealed cans)...took 2 to recharge...now ICE cold air. * Installed short shifter and boot
Plan on bringing "Pepto" in for paint at the end of the week. Still trying to decide on a color...but actually may just get it wrapped.
Considering just wrapping her in the new blue chrome flexi-wrap, just like this lambo:
Once "Pepto" has been transformed I will begin the repairs on the 86GT 3800SC swap as long as Stephen's schedule permits.
I will be gathering the following parts to fix some of the initial issues:
* Fiero 3800 SC Supercharged L67 Swap Conversion Engine Wiring Harness from "phonedawgz" off of e-bay - $465
Once Stephen and I work through that portion, I will post the next list of issues to be addressed.
Get a SC gasket, ZZP MPS, and a Few Can's of High Temp paint.. The SC needs to come off for paint and a multi pully system (MPS). You should run a 3.4 pulley.

As I continue to have time, the more issues I catch with the botched 86GT 3800SC swap,,,it is nerve racking!
code:
While they were grinding down the rear passenger side hatch like first year shop students they didn't even bother to put up a protective cover to protect a damn thing.
As shown below with the nicks etched out of my passenger side rear window...now I going to have to replace the rear window as well!

Don't by the PRJ rails as they are way over priced. You can get the Aeroquip rails and thrn buy the needed fittings. Plus I will set it up as a returnless setup which makes it a cleaner setup. Or you can buy the ZZP returnless rail setup which comes with everything and is cheaper..

Buy the ZZP series II rails. Take the pressure regulator off and mount that low by the fuel filter. Then add the gauge to the rear rail. I have done this on the past few swaps. It uses AN lines and fittings from the fuel filter forward and secures perfectly to the firewall.
Otherwise you will need to make the return system by cutting up a fuel rail with regulator. I've done it both ways, but find the Fuelab regulator to be cleaner and better if you want to raise the fuel pressure a bit.
