Sunday we will meet up for group breakfast and farewells.
Before heading home... take an opportunity to check out other cool things to do in or around Fredericksburg! If you have never been to the Nimitz Museum... it is an amazing treasure... They have one gallery that simulates an aircraft carrier flight deck, the have a Japanese Midget sub recovered from Pearl Harbor, a real PT boat, and a unused casing from the nuclear weapon, Little Boy... awesome awesome stuff. I cannot emphasize enough how interesting this place is, especially if you are a history or mechanic buff. http://www.pacificwarmuseum.org/Index.asp Visit Luckenbach http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luckenbach,_Texas The LBJ Ranch is not too far away, and is free to the public with self guided tours http://www.nps.gov/lyjo/pla...it/visitlbjranch.htm Climb the Enchanted Rock http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enchanted_Rock
I am looking forward to cooler days and a great event!

Fredericksburg is a great town to visit. Something for everyone to see and do. Looking foward to a great RUCKUS XI. Wow, its seams like it wasn't that long ago we went to OK for the 1st, RED RIVER RUCKUS.
Great Fieros, Great Food, Great Sights & Great People. Need to get this on your calendar. If the Fiero isn't running, come anyway. You will have a great time.

Hotel is booked, Navy Blue shirt for me please, no pocket and "L" size. I think this could be a good opportunity to discuss the 30th Anniversary next June and see if we can all make some kind of effort to link up and travel up together. We'll see............
Not having a running Fiero . Gianina and I are thinking of bringing some parts to sell. if a small swap meet would be ok we will post a list of parts we will have.

Booked us a room for Friday night and Saturday night.
I have a few parts I will not be using in my garage. Let me know what you need and I will bring it. If I have what you need it will be free so I can make some room in my garage.

Does that mean your Grove Ratmobile is ready? Time to cruise the Pig Stand and Griffs!
Mike Parker
Mike, I got my new AC condenser from the UPS truck today. I am trying to get the AC going so we can drive it. I have everything re-painted except a hood. I am hoping to get one in good shape from Ben's Dad in Lufkin Wednesday after work. When I get the AC cooling we will start making Fiero events in it, and give the Malibu a much deserved rest.
Grove Rats don't die, they just smell that way! We all have Buckner and Bruton Rd in out blood.
-Joe

Joe, Maybe one weekend we can get both of our Fieros on the road at the same time and meet up in Dallas. We could cruise Buckner, have lunch somewhere on the strip. That would include a run by Spruce and Samuel for pictures. I wonder if Twilight Skating rink is still standing. Then, how about we cruise around White Rock Lake as well. Maybe a run by Big Town Mall or what’s left of the first enclosed mall in Texas. I worked part-time, after school, at Hardy’s Shoes for $1.25 hour and I think I was all the way up to $2.00 before I quit to start El Centro Junior College downtown. Gas was about $0.24.9 a gallon and Griff’s had their burgers and fries at $0.19 each, so my car and I both stayed on full.
I think I am going to add that to my Bucket List. Mike P.

Unoficially - Official. Right now, it looks like I will be working in El Paso from October 1 to October 21. My plan is to rent a nice Camaro or Mustang and chase Frizlefrak across West Texas to the Rukus.

Looks like a great event is cooking. All the people and their Fiero from all over the state and some of the OK folks. Looks like Paul will be their from AR. I for one are realy looking foward to the RUCKUS XI.
We will have a couple Fiero spoilers, some blue interior pieces (very rare), engine parts, like new alternator V6, like new AC compressor V6 and some nice wheels with tires with us at RRR. If you want a very nice complete 2.8 with auto trans or a 3.4 block with 20 over Ross forged pistons and worked heads with 3800SC valves in them let me know and we can bring also. We will be at the shop this weekend so if you need pictures let me know and we can get them.
