Would anyone on PFF have previously owned, be familiar with, or know the previous owner(s) of my 1988 Fiero GT with the following information:
VIN 1G2PG1199JP209151
AutoCheck calculated 4 previous owners
Titled in Columbus, Reynoldsburg, and Canal Winchester OH from June 1995 to March 2004
Titled in Milwaukee and Franklin WI from April 2004 to march 2009
Titled in Val Caron Ontario Canada from October 2009 to June 2011

This Fiero had been entered in many car shows and received numerous trophies, some as follows:
2005 Dells Run People's Choice
2002 Dells Run People's Choice
2001 Dells Run People's Choice
2001 Frankenmuth MI Fiero Club 2nd Place
2000 Dells Run People's Choice
1999 Dells Run People's Choice
1999 Swan City Car Show Best of Class
1998 Zoo Classic Fiero Modified 1st Place
1997 Fish Day Rod & Custom Show 1st Place
1997 Dells Run People's Choice
1996 Swan City Car Show Best of Class
1996 Dells Run People's Choice
1995 Dells Run People's Choice

The Fiero is in very nice condition and shows very well with just over 83,000 miles. It is fully optioned except for sun roof, lumbar seat option, and premium sound system. I purchased it from a couple in Ontario Canada in September 2011. They imported the Fiero into Canada in 2009. Due to their children's recreational activities, they did not have adequate time to join a Fiero club or attend car shows.

One of my reasons for purchasing this Fiero was that the colour is the second rarest (next to Yellow) for GT's produced in 1988. There were only 257 Silver Metallic Fiero GT's whereas there were only 241 Bright Yellow Fiero GT's in 1988.

Thank you in advance to all who read my post and to those who can possibly shed some light on the ownership history of this Fiero.

Now new owner of a Black TTop 88 Fiero GT and owner of a Silver 88 Fiero GT. Also a second time owner of an 85 Fiero GT. Bought my first fully loaded Red Fiero GT new in 1985. Fiero's are Fabulous, Fix'em and have Fun! Note, Avatar picture is Mr. Bean (not me, ha ha).

Yes, an 88 Silver GT is super rare. I remember going to look at one of these in the late 90's in Calgary. It had low km and the owner described it as red over the phone. When I got there, it looked like an 86 gt (complete with silver gfx) with black 88 crosslaces. Lo and behold, the RPO sheet decoded it as a silver 88 gt. Some stupid previous owner painted red over the silver. I even got paint quotes to return it to stock- but it was too much and i passed on the car.
Bottom line, silver 88 GTs rock. Have fun with it.

FIERO JOHN-WI,
Thank you very very much for giving me Wayne's email address!
We hooked-up and Wayne provided me with a wealth of interesting information about my Silver 88 Fiero GT. It is wonderful to have some background history on my Fiero, and Wayne and I will definitely keep in touch to exchange more details about our Fiero's.

I will soon issue the same request on PFF to inquire about the previous ownership of my black 88 Fiero GT. Hope my luck will hold out.

Wow, knew my silver 88 GT was rare, but jeeze. I've got lumbar too, wonder how exclusive that makes it?
