You should check in at ncfiero.com. I don't own one but I'm in the Charlotte area.

I'm not too worried about it. They said they could get robot in January. Originally would have been finished this month, but I added 42.5 injectors, upgraded fuel pump, and AEM water/methanol injection. Now it will deal better with intake temps. It's a non-inter cooled turbo setup.

I'm game. Did send you a note, previously.
If I take the car lets keep it within 25 miles or so.
Good gas is $12.00 a gallon. And 4-5 mpg. Is a treat.

Geez, $12 a gallon? What brand you use? I'm curious to know the timing/compression you're running in that thing. The race fuel I've gotten from they dyno shop was only around $8-9.

I have been told of new sources of fuel out in Mooresville, near the NASCAR shops.
I have bought 116 from Doug Herbert's race shop and mail order operation at the cost of $12.00 a gallon.
When I can I mix that with 100 octane from the local pump at $8.00 per gallon.

I run no mufflers, but pipes over the rear end and out the back. Kinda loud.. Cool though.
Can't hear the motor ping or rattle....So I run the best gas I can.

I believe the engine is close to 13 to 1 . It has a bit of a cackle to it.

Pretty neat! I'd love to see that thing in person one day. My shop is next door to Doug Herbert.

Let me know if you guys come up with something. I'm a couple hours away in East Tennessee, but would enjoy getting to meet with some other Fiero owners in the region. Might be able to make it if the dates are free on the schedule...

Water/methanol injection is a proven way to raise the octane of your fuel and drastically cool combustion temperatures, and detergent free windshield wiper fluid is 70/30 water/meth. You really might want to consider it, you could use high octane pump gas and water/meth without risking ping.

Not too hard to install a knock sensor on your block and monitor it inside the car. You can never be too safe.

Count me in...I'll bring the convertible. I agree that Statesville or Mooresville might get more participation. Those of us in the western part of the state are used to driving a bit....but those out east think an hour drive is a weekend trip.

whiteandnerdy27 says he will show with his 85 GT also.

Back several years ago Jack Cook of Hickory, N.C., was very active on the Fiero scene. He was on a couple of the Fiero sites but dropped off following a problem with his internet provider. Haven't had contact with him since. He had a beautiful gold GT fastback.

In another thread they were talking about the Sonic in Lincolnton. Good to see a North Carolina group coming together again.
