I was watching robocop yesterday and I was wondering how many bullets were shot in that movie?? My guess is about 10,000 or so.

Robo's gun can fire quite alot. But Starship Troopers holds the record for most bullts fired in a movie. It have something like 1 million bullets fired throughout the movie.

I guarantee you not a single bullet was fired in either movie. Blanks maybe, bullets not.

I would say close to a jillion. But if you wanna see some freakin bullets fly, check out the film "The Wild Bunch". I think Sam Peckinpah was going through a "more bullets=more better" stage in his life there. Just don't let any of those murderous Canadians see it, they might get some kind of idea.

In Starship Troopers, I found it very strange that we are out in the galaxy, but still using weapons that fire solid projectiles.

Half as many as The Matrix or Rambo

Unless you watched the special edition un-rated DVD of robocop your estimate will be low

I would think that Saving Private Ryan would hold the record

to add some practical knowledge, we have already built a spacestation, albeit basic, but as a laser designer don't even think we could use them as weapons for quite awhile, we still can't use them effectivly in phone systems, and barely in surgery, it takes enoughmous power to ever be used in that scale, sorry I'm full of useless knowledge

Darnit, you beat me to it! Taking this into account, The Crow has all those movies beat. Why? Because there were actually some real bullets fired in that movie (causing Brandon Lee's death).

I think the more appropriate question is: "How many shells do you think were discharged in the RoboCop movies?"

With that in mind, I think Blackhawk Down has 'em all beat... by a fairly large margin.
