Well, NFS underground 2 is awesome. I stood in line at walmart to buy it at midnight (release date). Quite different from NFSU1 since you can tune everything on your car. Far less ricey in my opinion and too much fun to stop playing. ACK 3:30am... Thats all i have to say. Happy burnin! Vroom 88 carolla.
Yeah, any REAL game? I have seen a few "add-on-cars" but none of them really "feel" like a Fiero...
Oh well... I'll FINALLY be making a fully legit "3d" Fiero racing game, but that's not till early next year. I'm not gonna mention it again till then... Here is one screenshot of the engine in action...
Nice thing is that It seems to run smoothly on older systems...
There are a few things I need to fix on it...and when I'm REALLY ready to start, I'll let ya know...
Till then, it'll be a top-down thang where ya drive around bumping into stuff. wheee.

Underground 2 does have the new GTO and I think a TransAm.
The new GTO comes later in the games as one of the Premier Cars you get near the end of the game. I have been playing Underground 2 since Saturday and have already completed 2 or 3 sponsor requirments. So far the only thing I dont like is that you cant "sell" your parts from one car to build the next car, you HAVE to go out and find street races to make money and then buy all new parts. I guess the trade off is they GIVE you the cars for free, you just have to pay for all the mods. It is kinda nice to see domestic parts listed for a change, and I really like the dyno feature allowing you to tweak where your motor makes the power and how much power at each RPM and such.
Tip, Go through and tweak your cars settings and suspension for each seperate race style. You will do much better. Then save the settings you only need to back in and tweak anything when you have made major modifications.
Tip #2 The listed shops when you first start out, are not the only shops, keep your eyes peeled for other shops, as you find them, they will then show up on your map.

Do you guys reccommend I go out and buy it with this week's paycheck?

Well I downloaded the full version from www.suprnova.org its only 1.6 gig to download the 2 iso's. I am definitly going to go out and buy it. My only issue is once you start playing you normally dont want to quit playing for at least 2 hrs. I have spent up to 4hrs playing it at once. I had to go out and buy a good game pad becuase hunching over the keyboard for that long at a time was killing my back.
It is one heck of a good game.

I "got" it last nite.... I finally got it to install via daemon tools Looks fun, I have to figure out why my mouse scroll wheel is going whacky on the menus. Otherwise it runs great.
If you are looking for cheat stuff, go to the suprnova site and look for "saved game files" I admit I download them and played with them. It is cool to see all the cars you can play with at the end of the game, Pontiac, Ford, all the cool domestic cars are Premium cars that you get near the end of the game.
SOme of the later cars, will let you do brake stands, just hold the brake on and mash the gas can do a real good smokey, and go find an empty parking lot and do a bunch of dounuts, you get like 400 points each for your first 2.

I am running the RX8 around 400hp now but a puny 250lbs of torque, guess that is an import 4 popper for ya. Got my 0-100 down to less than 9 seconds.
4 popper?
I liked the original so I may have to get this one. The lack of LAN play still pisses me off, though.
I caved in and bought NFS:HP2 for $10. It's a fun game but worse than previous NFS titles in network play, physics, and features. I know it's a console port but the graphics could certainly be better. Oh, and no "hot pursuit" in multiplayer races.

You need to have a program like http://pingpong-abc.sourceforge.net/ to use bit torrent sites. This is the one that I use and find it works well for me.

I started out with Porsche unleased (held 4 world records), Then MCO (made a lot of money) then NFSU (didn't like that much) It takes a lot of practice to be fast!!

You use burning software and load the image (the ISO file).. and bitorrent is something you just let run in the background.. Sometimes it goes at 50kb/s, sometimes .5.. I usually get about 7-10 or so..at best..

Just picked up Underground 2 today, a great sequal to the first one!. I really like the fact of driving around the city on your own free will to do races and stuff. The sensation for speed is more realistic, 100MPH through the city feels crazy fast.
I like the new racing styles, Street X and the Underground Racing league is a blast. My only complaint is that it rains an aweful lot in that city, reminds me of Vancouver...
Is the stickers and vinyl locked?, I can't seem to put those on my car yet, I'm to the point where I've just unlocked Jackson heights, the 2nd stage ECU, and carbonfibre spoilers and stuff.
Definetely a 2 thumbs up game!, wasn't a bad price either, 60 bux canuk.
