I have had a difficult life, and I haven't always been the person that I wish I could be... I leave behind an amazong daughter and a wonderful wife- both of whom deserve so much more than what I have been able to be for them. Please know that my life has been a troubled one, and if you know someone who needs help, please take the time to be there for them. Linda, my wife and Emily, my daughter are the most amazing people I have ever known. The greatest accomplishment I have on this Earth is my daughter Emily. Some how, dispite who I am, she has grown into a person that has great insight, a person who is loving, caring and understanding of others. Thank all of you for being who you are, I have really enjoyed spending time here. I just wish that I could be more than what I've become and I regret so much that others have to suffer because I'm not here, but I feel I have no other choice, life for me is not what I want anymore and I guess it's time to find out if there is something better. I sure hope so....
Good luck in all your future endeavors and think of your daughter often, as I'm sure she does think greatly of you. We are here for you if we can help in any way.

It sounds as if you are going to end it and want us to know how much you are suffering.Just how much do you think your daughter and wife are going to suffer if you do what imply? There is nothing! nothing that can't be overcome.Don't think of yourself, think of those who will be left to suffer. If there is anything I can do,email or PM me with your phone number and I will call.

Do what you feel that you have to do, but just realize that you are going to be giving your wife and daughter a life sentance of guilt and regrets. You will be increasing the chance that your daughter will wind up in an abusive relationship and abusing substances. You will also dramatically increase the likeliehood that her demise will come as a result of suicide.
At the beginning of this month, I was so incredibly depressed that I admitted myself into the hospital. I felt there was just a void, that life had absolutely no joy left in it for me. Now, after getting a psychiatrist to prescribe and monitor my medication and participating in group therapy I now can laugh and smile again. No, my problems haven't gone away, but I feel that I have the strength and support to deal with them.
I really hope that this is a cry for help, and that you go after that help. Yes, life can seem somewhat hopeless, but by having a wife and a kid you made a commitment to be there for them. Don't back out on that.

If you are going to do it. I hope you have a will, if not, make a will before you go. I would hate to see your family go through so much problems in probate.

Come on F-E-I-R-O, post a reply. Talk to some folks about what's up. Maybe there's someone up there you can talk to in person or the phone'll reach anyone. I know you don't know me from Adam, but pop me an e-mail and I'll give you my number. I'm sure just about everyone else here'd be just as happy to talk to you if there's someone else you'd prefer.

If you are thinking about comitting suicide don't do it. Who will take care of your family then? You will be killing a part of them too if you do it. You definitely have something wrong with you if you think this is your only way out. You cannot give up as long as there are people who count on you being there. Turn yourself in and get some help. If you can't, tell your wife, she will be able to get you the help you need. If you don't tell her she may end up hating you for doing so. Suicide is a very selfish, cowardly way to end your life. You are not thinking right. GET HELP THIS INSTANT. You and your family will be happier for doing so. I hope our replies aren't too late and you do the right thing.

For God's sake, give us a reply and let everybody know that you are still hanging in there. We're all human down here and a lot of us have been through our "darkest hour" and come out the other end to find out that it does get better, life is worth living, problems can be overcome.
Listen to Stimpy. You have a family and they don't deserve to be hurt like this. No, everybody will not be better off if you are gone. I had an uncle that I was very close to commit suicide nearly 27 years ago. He lived next door and was a mentor to me. He had a machine shop and taught me a whole lot about mechanical things. It was horrible and it affected me for years. The vision of him lying there dead haunted my dreams. The void that he left in my life was unimaginable. I still miss him so much and sometimes I imagine the conversations that we could have had if only he had found a healthier way around his problems.
There is help out there for you. You have already reached out to your forum friends. There is good professional help too and it works.
Don't go to that mental place where you think that nobody cares.

"Don't remember where I was when I realized life was a game. The more seriously I took things, the harder the rules became."
The game isn't over... You just need to tweak your perspective/attitude. If it is a chemical or emotional imbalance, doctor's can help. I've been through this phase, and it's just one of many tests you go through in life. Dealing with failure and learning is painful, but it has long term benefits. Milk this for all it's worth. Find a new purpose, goal, or life changing event for awhile.
Nobody knows what is beyond this life for a reason, so I would rush to judgement that it is the solution to any problem.
Good luck with your choice, and I pray for your family.

F-I-E-R-O There is a time in everyones life when they say I wish I could have done this and what if I didnt do that. The fact that you feel guilt is a sign that you dont want it. Here is the moment where you can change how you feel about yourself. Your family is depending on you good or bad. If not for you for the sake of your daughter. Live for her think for a second about what her life is going to be like without you good or bad she has a DAD. DONT take that away from her. If you need support then look to the people here who are calling out to help. Sometimes just talking clears the head......

I called, got the machine. The Fire and Rescue has sent someone out. They have my number, but I don't know that they would call me and tell me anything. Confidentiality and all. Hopefully he'll contact someone and let us off the hook.

I tried the numbers provided by Jake and my wife and I talked to his wife Linda about ten minutes ago (7:15) Andrew left a note for her too and she was out to look for him. We are praying for him and his family.

HOLY %$#&*@!!! I'm sorry people but I can only agree with others that it sounds like....... he is going to choose a permanent solution to a temporary situation Stimpy, did you hear yet if your call got them there in time? Is he ok? Is it possible that this was just an extreme way to get our attention or is it..... as bad as we think it might be....
Edit: I see a few posts were typed in with more info while I was typing. My family and I are praying for him and his family right now Hopefully he will change his mind or at least hesitate long enough to be found....

I believe some part of Andrew wants help. Otherwise, why post this thread? It's so OK if it's a cry for attention, it sounds like he needs some professional attention. I think it's a positive thing that his wife did not find him at home, hopefully he decides to take himself to the hospital.

Rate this member 01-30-2005 08:35 PM I am a Fiero fan for life and since I plan on being around on this forum for a while, I sure the heck don't want to make any enemies. Besides, this forum is better than any TV show I have ever come across. Its got everything: sex, violence (pg 13) drama, I've laughed and I've cried (damaged Fieros) life doesn't get better than this (except Fiero meets which I plan on starting to attend this year). I gues the only thing I really have to do now is come up with a very cool signature, I'm good with Photoshop, so this should keep me out of trouble for a while. Thanks for the response! Andrew https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum4/HTML/024552.html What has changed recently????? Let us know?????

I have his address, I was just out to his place last weekend to pick up the rims he had for sale. I really enjoyed hanging out and talking to him the entire time I was there, he seemed into really fixing up the Fiero he had there. He really didn't strike me as there was something wrong, he was upbeat and happy and really glad I made it there..

Edited address and phone number as asked

There is nothing so bad that the spirit cant over come. Please don’t do this, I was in a car accident and came close to getting killed. You do not understand what you are going to put your loved ones through. We are all here to help, brothers so to speak. If it’s anything that we can help with just ask. Nothing is worth where you are going.
He really didn't strike me as there was something wrong. Here's his address.
You would say the same thing about me if you met me. A chemical imbalance can put someone in a place where the right trigger will send them spiraling. It doesn't need to take much.
Just got a call from the Sherriff's dept out there. They found him and took him to the hospital. Of course they couldn't say much about his condition, but he is going to get help. I hope he posts here in 72 hours and lets us know that he's going to get continuing treatment. Thank you to Jake_Dragon and MiZer for getting the personal details.
Its good to hear that he has been found. Hopefully after some time he will see that no matter what there will be people around to listen and help anyway possible. Should we send our regards to the family somehow? Or just let things settle down...

F-I-E-R-O, I have been down your path and it has crossed my mind many of times. But frankly, dont be stupid. As you said yourself, you have a wonderfull wife and duaghter. Let someone help and get it worked out. If your not a church person, check into it. Atleast maybe talk to a pastor. Heck, ill have my pastor call you. He has helped me thorugh so much, and he is young to so he understands. He is a good person to just talk to. Let us know whats what man. Hang in there. It will all work out.

That's some commendable work you did there Stimp. People might give you crap for things you say or do, but when it comes down to things that really matter in life you're the kind of guy that I think most of us would want backing us up.
"+" for you!

I'd like to think that there's at least a couple hundered people on here that would be as concerned about me. I encourage everyone to send him a card. It should get to him by the time he gets home, and I know that the encouragement from everyone will help get his mind on recovering from being in this dark place.
