I was going to avoid this post at all costs. Obviously I need to listen to the voice of reason more often. I do laugh at these people that drive SUV's and pickups and have nothing to haul and don't take them off road but that is a flawed opinion. I HAD an suv (a 93 4 door Blazer) until it got totalled by a Ford Escort (and the Escort driver didn't die). I live in an area where deer are more common than people and I do not know one single person who hasn't hit a deer. I would much rather hit a deer with an SUV than a compact car. I also live at the top of a dirt hill and would gladly give my Fiero, my house and my bank account to anyone who can make it up said hill in the snow in anything less than a 4WD vehicle with substantial ground clearance. Sometimes I do chores for my mom at her farm. I have more respect for my Fiero than to try to drive it through the fields. And so what if I live through a collision with a compact car in my SUV and don't die. A very wise man once said that "the secret to life is not dying". If the other guy dies that is what was in the cards for that day. I agree there are some arrogant retards driving SUV's because they feel more manly. Shame on them. But there are plenty of people who drive SUV's who have a valid reason to do so. And those drivers do have a right to extend their personality (or lack thereof) in any way they see fit. Who needs an SUV? Who needs a japanese compact car with a roof scoop and skull and crossbone seat covers that goes from 0-60 in 4 seconds? Noone, depending who you ask.

Well I dont know why. Maybe its from the PO... the one that said what a blast it is to be cruising down the highway and slam that puppy into 3rd and scare bus loads of kittens carrying boxes of nuns or something to that effect. All I know is I didnt abuse it at all and it went out on me while in 4th going down the highway. Either way, just had to pick on you a bit and own page 8 in the process. Now get that clutch here Monday so I can go freeze my ass off in the shop!
