Ahoi Silver, Away!

Sorry, couldn't help it. My Fiero is metalic silver with flakes.
It used to be Blue.

Been thinking about having it repainted again. Haven't decided what color yet.

LMAO...

And Daniel... I'd much rather have a car whose negative color inspries Mystery and Death... as opposed to Pollution and Urban Sprawl...

I cracked up when I read those!

sorry, to bump my own thread... but I just found this:

http://money.cnn.com/2003/12/11/pf/autos/colors/

You add gray and silver... that is 33% of all vehicles. Yikes!
Well anyway, thanks everyone for playing along...

Tune in for my next rant! *RANT* What is the deal with all battleships being gray?

ps. S-Toon... you sure that car is really blue? and not just silver with a blue filter on the camera lense?

What I already said, gray seems to blend (disappear ) in better in all situations. Same reason military planes are also gray or at least gray on the bottom half. Some are green/ brown from the top to blend in with ground colors when seen from above. Ships in gray are also painted in wartime in what they call 'dazzle'. All shades of gray going all around in different patterns to hide the direction, shape and identity to anyone seeing them.
