Just looked at fierotrevor's thread, and gave up VERY quickly But it reminded me of party games we used to play years ago. You were given a set of circumstances, and a visual description..and you had to ask questions, which the 'Quizmaster' would only answer 'yes' or 'no'....and you had to work out what the visual picture was all about. I remember one in particular, which I managed to work out !! Anybody want to PLAY??!!! AAAAAhahahaha!! Nick

The scenario is a groundfloor bedroom.Inside the bedroom is a man on the bed. On the floor of the bedroom are some wood shavings. Outside the window, another man is jumping up and down.By asking questions, that can only be answered by a yes or a no, you have to work out what has been happening... But..I have to go to bed as it is now 5:00am..I will answer all questions tomorrow...with a yes or a no Nick

Oh, we got it as well; but I think it took more than a couple hours.... the relationship and reason were the tough parts. I don't think I gave away too much.

Hmmm, I thought there would be more interest in getting this going. I'll prime the pump with a few questions.
Since the "dwarf is out of the bag"... the questions I should have asked. Is the apt being on the first floor important? (he's too short to reach the elevator buttons) does he have a physical condition that would prevent him from using the stairs? (blind)
anyway... a couple more to get the interest in really solving the puzzle- Is the man on the bed alive? Does the man outside know the man on the bed? Are the wood shavings important?

No..and I haven't done the precis yet..here it is:
Man on bed is dead, and a dwarf...and was blind. Wood shavings on the floor in the bedroom are from a cane.No fire. Door is locked.Window is closed. The man on the bed has been ' murdered', although there has been no physical assault or wounds administered physically ( gunshot etc). The man outside is not stomping on the roses. He is not jumping up and down in panic. There is no bear riding a tricycle in the bedroom. The bedroom is on the ground floor...irrelevant...although the point made above could have been relevant..the occupant was a dwarf. Nick

The bear on the tricycle killed him with a candlestick, because he reminded him of his trainer. That evil trainer that made him ride tricycles to begin with
