They are a fairly new company out of Costa Mesa, California, who are getting pretty good reviews on their low-cost, high-quality, HDTV's. The 32 inch LCD HDTV below is going for $799 here at Costco. The picture looked every bit as good as the name-brands costing $500 more then this one!
Anyone own one of these?

"The Vizio L32 is an inexpensive LCD TV that offers high-definition resolution in a stylish design. While the L32 has a respectable selection of A/V inputs for a TV at this price, we found its component video substantially worse compared with the image quality of its HDMI video input.

Pros: Good assortment of A/V inputs. Comfortable remote. Good digital video.

Cons: Poor component video. Some noise noticed in dark portions of movies. Mediocre video processor resulted in some jagged artifacts."

You might also check http://www.lcdtvs.com for prices on various TVs. They have some very competitive prices.
Also, keep in mind that Vizio can only do 720p and 1080i max resolution. Most of the 1080i stuff is going to be falling in price because HD-DVD and Blu-Ray will be able to do 1080p.

I have the 42 inch model. Picked it up a couple of months ago at Costco after we moved down here to Frisco, Tx. We needed something that would fit into the TV cabinet that was built into the wall. So far, love it. We don't have high definition cable, but we do have a HDMI DVD player hooked up to it. Can't complain at all about picture quality with cable and with the DVD player, it is great. However, I am not a real audio/video nut. But, for a family room television that gets a lot of light, (not a dedicated movie room or such) and for the price, you can't beat it.

We have the 37" inch (or maybe its 38?) model. No problems thus far, it has great picture quality, no problems or dead pixels. I cannot say anything about sound - the TVs speakers have never been used.
