I saw an article in a car mag at Barnes and Noble today. It was about Bosozoku cars in Japan. They are custom cars that take cues from 70's choppers, and racers with huge wings. The result is something that makes even the worse ricer here look awesome. Just thought I would share what I found.

I have seen some of these before and I always have to wonder one thing...
Do they need a trailer plate for their rear bumpers?

Those are tame compared to some of the Boso vans I've seen (in pics & vids...nothing in person).

I've never liked the bosozoku fad (when applied to cars).

I guess I can appreciate all the bodywork and paint work put in the cars though...

I can appreciate the thought, money, and labor that has gone into these vehicles, but I am more moved by what can and has been done to our vehicles. Not just Fieros, but the whole range of vehicles from motorcycles to tractors(the kind that pull trailers to the ones that plow the fields).I feel that they belong to another culture and their tastes are different than mine. They should be just as proud of their accomplishments as we are of ours.
