It was just announced on Fox News that ''when the ice thawed, it revealed a rubber gorilla costume'' and now some of the backers are planning to sue the two individuals who perpetrated the hoax.

See the THIRD post in this thread. Nobody say I didn't tell you so! LOL
If this Biscardi guy is dumb enough to give them money before examining the body, he deserves to lose it. This is the second time he's been had by Bigfoot hoaxers. What a moron.

They should! It's bad enough when your average idiot perpetrates a fraud, but when cops SWORN TO UPHOLD THE LAW does it they should have the book thrown at them! They should be in jail right now, but they're not. Why? BECAUSE THEY'RE COPS & they KNOW they can get away with it!

On Atlanta TV, they just interviewed one of the brass of the local PD. Based on his statements, they plan on taking action against this clown. He said that someone of this type should not be allowed to stay in law enforcement.

Well even if this one was obviously a hoax, still dont mean they dont really exist. Id like to know how they figured to pull it off in the first place. Any idiot should have figured out theyd be busted.

did they mention the frozen guy in the gorilla costume?
One of the cops was on administrative leave from the Clayton County, Georgia PD due to having been shot in the hand or arm. Last night's 11 o'clock news, his boss said he has now been 'Fired'.

Guess no one caught the jest of my (DNA =George Jones) reference.
Through out the country music industry, to include his fans, George Jones was affectionately known as "Possum George"

I think its more of a game, fun while it lasts. Or they may be able to keep the money if they were given any and there were not proper papers signed, who knows.
Absolute Proof. How many ways are there to prove something?
Copper Wire
After having dug to a depth of 10 yards last year, New York scientists found traces of copper wire dating back 100 years and came to the conclusion that their ancestors already had a telephone network more than 100 years ago.
Not to be outdone by the New Yorkers, in the weeks that followed, California scientists dug to a depth of 20 yards, and shortly after, headlines in the LA Times newspaper read: 'California archaeologists have found traces of 200 year old copper wire and have concluded that their ancestors already had an advanced high-tech communications network a hundred years earlier than the New Yorkers.'
One week later, The 'Sylacauga Advance,' a local newspaper in Alabama, reported the following:
'After digging as deep as 30 yards in a cotton field near Weogufka in Coosa County, Rufus Earl McMahon, a self-taught archaeologist, reported that he found absolutely nothing. Rufus Earl has therefore concluded that 300 years ago, Alabama had already gone wireless.'
!!! And Bigfoot too!

So, those two idiots confirmed today that this was a hoax. HA!
To all those that believed these two, I TOLD YOU SO!!!
Actually, no. They admitted that it was a joke that got out of hand. They said no one was harmed, so what's the big deal. They're bigger idiots than I thought they were.

Sometimes I wonder if there is a single sane person in this entire country! Did you read what the guy said who put up the auction? "I really do not believe that there is a physical, biological 800-pound ape-like organism running around out there in North America," he answered. "There is no biological basis for that. "But apparitions are a genuine human experience. I do believe that Bigfoot could exist as some sort of phantasm or interdimensional being." He believes in interdimensional beings but not *a* bigfoot! GIVE ME A BREAK! The cop "wants his job back". You commited FRAUD, you idiot! Why the hell isn't he IN JAIL???
