I agree with you about the dealer.. I would be PISSED, and probably would have recorded the conversation on my cell phone audio recorder..

He could have even refused to deal at all because he had blue hair or wears funny shoes .. until you get into housing or a few other federally protected markets you have a right to sell or not sell to who ever you want for whatever reason you want. But its always our right not to do business with them, so its a 2 way street.

I can attest to getting more or less attention depending on how ive arrived at a lot.
if i come in my junker they don't even look out the window, but if i drove my nice car they would run across the lot to greet me. So id always drive the junker so id not be bugged while shopping

If you only knew the things i do for my community, family, friends.
Here is one. my friend got his dogs taken away because they were pitt bulls that supposed to have bit someone. (playfull puppy bite is what it was not even a scratch on the person) I gave not lent out, gave him over 500 to get them out of the pound, get them shots, and build a nice kennel to hold them so they can't break their chain.
Or taking care of my handicapped sister because i dont trust institutes to take care of her properly.
Or giving a car to my neibor for free because someone wrecked their old one. (ran a stop sign, and i have to many cars as it is.)
Or rescuing animals. (adopted my dauchound and huskie from a shelter)
or volunteering in a fundraiser for autisum.
I dont know but after all that maybe i am stupid, uneducated, prejudiced, ignorant, rude. but thats just me

Firefox will do spell check in a webpage as you type.. Safari and Konqueror does too, and has saved me many a time as im the king of typos I just type too fast and need to slow down ( which really sux if im coding.. )

Alico and i first me when i was his boss, he got kicked out of the place he lived and had no where to go. So even knowing him after a week i let him stay at my place for a little bit till he got on his feet. i know not a smart thing to do because i didnt know much about him at the time. but i am a good judge of character and i trusted him. and i dont regret it one bit. he is my best friend and thier is nothing he wouldnt do for me or what i would do for him.

Senario:
If you were a Soldier that came in to my Equal Opportunity Office and stated that story exactly how you wrote it in your post, I would have kindly told you to get out of my office, think about what and how you said what you said and then decide if you wanted to talk about your dealership issue with me.
You would have either:
Come into my office ranting again and I would have told to to get your ignorant butt out of my office.
or
You would have calmly come back to my office asking if a dealer could do that and we could have discussed it.
