Looking like my wagon again. After I get it back I'm building a concrete fence around it for safety. Might be a minute before I ever buy a new car. This one will have to last awhile.
Great Job Chris!

Great Job Chris!
Thank you!! Its moving along nicely. I am excited to get the rest of the parts tomorrow and hopefully finish the body repairs, and start on the body work and paint.

Another day of pounding on the core support, adjusting things, and removing and installing parts over and over. But we are getting very close to the finish!

I have half a mind to have them darn things disconnected. Damn near knocked me silly! Of course without them I would probably have broke my nose, teeth and ribs.
I never been punched in the face as hard as airbags can hit ya.
You do nice work, its good to see someone taking pride in his work and not afraid to show the process.
Thanks bud!! I find the most enjoyable part of doing major repairs is taking photos and watching the car come back to life.
Also, pokeyfiero is an amazing person who has never even met me in real life. But he trusted me enough to load his SUV on a tow truck and send it 100 miles away to my shop. Then on top of that he even sent me money to pay for parts. So I keep this thread going in part to show pokey that he did not misplace his trust.

I had to give you the money or I would have wasted it all on blow and hookers! You could argue that ain't wasting but the truck sure wouldn't be gettin fixed that way.

I'm ready anytime. If it would be better, I could drive to you one of these days. You could take a look at what needs to be done. And give me a exact quote on what's its going to run. It might be save able with out replacing the cross member. Its going to be sooo cool to open my hood the right way!

Nice work DeLorean00! Where's your positive ratings bar? I gave you a plus to help it appear.

Thanks bud!!
You know I have always wondered where my bar is. I have been here a long time and helped as many people as I can but still no bar. LoL! I guess if I was a jerk my bar would show up over night.

True. I wondered the same thing, and then one day POW there it was. Although because I'm an automotic nincompoop, I can't help people with cars. My advise if a Fiero isn't running is "turn the key, does anything happen? It is in park or Neutral?"
Ann Says she doens't think it is my Truck. She thinks I swapped it for another. I swear you can't lie to a woman and you can't tell em the truth either.

A client dropped this off today. Its a 2006 Ford F-150 FX-4 4x4 with only 27,000 miles. It appears to be a light roll over (or onto its side). By the afternoon I already I had bought all the parts, picked up the doors, finished the tear down, and began test fitting parts.
On arrival.
Todays work.
Stay tuned....

Got one coming your way in the morning. Just need to figure on how to get back now. BTW...Looking good on the truck there bud. Did the frame guys get that b pillar staight or did you do that?
Just thought I would mention on Fords that the airbag system actually uses a two stage deployment and besides employing pre-tensioners also generally use a shorting bar in the RCM.
If the airbags deploy, most of them will need not only new pretensioners and airbags but also the RCM. Even if the airbags don't deploy the RCM will fire the shorting bar in the module to lessen the chance of an accidental deployment after an accident. Some vehicles also must have the entire passenger side seat and rails replaced (like fusion, some focii) and some just the passenger side seat cushion.
If you need any of this info let me know, and I can check it out or run VIN checks for you.
You do great body work, wish you were closer. (I've got two good front crash sensors and steering wheel/tan dash airbags for a 97ish ranger if your interested-cheap!)

So what we have here is an 88 GT. Been sitting around in the sun for a minute or so. I need another Fiero like I need a hole in my head but I am tired of seeing 88's get bought by idiots that just race em around until something breaks then have it end up at pick your part wrecking yard.
My goal is to clean it up and make it a really nice GT and either add it to my collection or sell it to someone that wants a nice GT and has a mind to take care of it.
So first thing is Chris needs to evaluate the condition and we will start on this project. So chris have a gander and maybe I will run it out to your shop thursday morning.
