Hi guys,

My Microsoft software appears to have erased my WAB.DLL file and Microsoft Outlook is driving me crazy looking for it.

Can somebody email me the file? If you can,+ for you.

Thanks,

Arn

Nope used windows mail. It was a pain in the arse to get use to but I like it ok now. Windows 7 mail is a different story.
I can try and grab a copy off of my wifes computer if you cant find one.

I'm on 32 bit.

Outlook keeps sending a message that it can't open Address Book because it can't find the WAD.DLL file. I can't find it either in Windows Explorer.

Any help?

Tried system restore?

Re-install Outlook?

Last resorts, but viable options...

What version of Outlook is it?
might be an outlook plug-in that's looking for that dll file...

try launching Outlook in safe mode (The app, NOT the OS)

Isn't the WAB file the "Windows Address Book" file?

I was given this link by a friend in IT

http://forums.techguy.org/b...-2000-wab-vista.html

It seems to be the answer.

Thanks for the offer, but as I posted above, I got the answer on the Tech guys website.

Cheers,
