The plan is to use some of the junk RC cars I have and relays for the drive motors and steering.
If I use a front fixed wheels and put casters on the back I can use one drive wheel and steer with it. I would only need one drive motor and a smaller motor to steer left and right.
For the drive motor I was thinking about using the wiper motor as suggested in another forum and a head light motor to steer left and right.
Using two relays I can make the turning motor work, and two more relays to run the drive motor in drive and reverse.
The drive motor would be geared so it wont free wheel if it looses signal and will stop the mower from running away from me.

If that doesn't work out I will hook up one drive motor for both wheels in the back and make up a steering system for the front wheels. That would steer more like a RC car than rear wheel steering it just wont turn as tight.
But I plan to do it for as little money as I can using parts from my parts car and some old RC cars that I already own.
