my final pay check says STATUS DET under deductions. in the remarks portion at the bottom, it says STATUS DETERMIN HLDPAY $XXXX.XX what exactly does that mean? nowhere does it show my days of leave sold back, just a CR BAL of 17.5... the amount i am selling back. someone help me decipher all of this?

yea, im gonna talk to PSD mon morning. but from what i read from a google on the same thing is that they do this for checking if you have any outstanding debts that they can take out of your final pay since it cant be done from retirement pay. could have misread some of that, but i wont see the final pay for about 10-20 days. :\ lame. go government.

DFAS hasnt caught up to the navy's findings of the retiree/seperatee (me) not having any owed debts. according to the PS. navy fed shows my allotment as a pending deposit clearing tonight. so maybe i am getting my final check. now am i getting this check as an entire or split up on the 1st and 15th like its always been?

If it was before July 31st....That's your final paycheck

If your final day is after July 31st, you'll get 1 more paycheck.

Anything other pay you'll receive will be in the form of your disability. You really don't want me to post my opinion on that matter.

hmm... well my 5 year mark was yesterday. my last day is the 31st.

pay came in on the dot. no more checks after this. oh well. disability checks and chap 33 gi bill money comin! got a SC III with some of the money.

I guess I missed it--what's the nature of your disability?

car wreck when changing commands. suffered a brain injury, 2 collapsed lungs, messed my back and knees up, lacerated some internals, and a lot of other little things. now i have back problems, knee problems (only when its cold ) and memory issues. well see how i do in school. i suck at remembering things now :\ but im learning to work around it. lol if only i can remember that!
