Ive looked through some at Spirit but can't decide what to be lol..plus all of them are too...revealing for my liking. Had to wear stockings last year because my butt was hanging out. Not my type of costume :/
I hate how the costumes use less and less material!

I'm going as a blue angel's pilot. The full deal, flight suit, pilots helmet and all. I was able to find all the patches the angels wear on their suits online. Got a bright blue set of overalls and bingo, flightsuit. I got some cheap *** novelty pilots helmet off ebay and painted it yellow. I have a buddy with a sticker shop that hooked me up with the blue angels crest for the back of it and the blue angels ribbon for the front, it looks sweet. My girlfriend is going to be a blue angel. May be the best couples costume I've come up with yet. I'd post some pics afterward but I can't get my PIP to work. Open to suggestions to other options BTW.

You could always use the costumes as a reference and make your own with more material. I hardly ever buy anything because of the reason I don't like one size fits all, it's never made in a fabric that is present to wear or comfortable for that matter, and they never get the details that I'm looking for right. Just an idea though.

I'm going to be a Ghostbuster. Didn't wanna go the "scary" route again at work.

Thats what i was last year
See - That's awesome man!!!! Now THAT's the way I'd LIKE to go (maybe I'd 'dirty" up the costume a little) The one I have has an inflatable (ugh) proton pack... I'd make a better lookin' one but all my stuff is in bins in storage...

Thanks for the ideas, little red riding hood would be fun! I was thinking maybe an Amy Brown fairy, I always liked how their costumes looked...
And I have made a costume before...well mainly my mom but I helped! lol I was princess Zelda, I bought Triforce earrings and everything, it was AWESOME. I might just re use that because it's thick fabric, really warm, and looks great
I dressed up as as a zombie with a skeleton face one year. It was awesome and I had so much fun. Then the next year I dressed up like one of the guys from Kiss and felt out of place all night. Its important to never dress up like Kiss and go to a redneck bar

I wanted to go all out in zombie, but I wanted something a bit sexy too, and I think I found the perfect costume:
My plan is to buy awesome contacts as well, some combat boots, and I know how to mess up my hair good! I might include a slashed neck, I've had the materials I need for it for a few years, add some more blood to the costume possibly, and maybe add in some tights. I'm tall and my butt hangs out, which I don't like...lol
Do some really awesome face make up, everything I have except the costume really. I'm excited!!
I had wanted to go as the Resident Evil 4 Merchant but I haven't had enough time/spare money to get the costume together, so possibly next year. My friend dropped the idea of being Fidel Castro, so I might go with that. I'm not sure but I need to hurry the hell up!

I don't have a picture of the costume we made for our 16 year old daughter but if I get a chance I'll have her put it on and snap a picture. We bought a bunch of different fabric scraps from the local craft store and used them to make it. We went with a peiced together dress like what Sally wore in A Nightmare Before Christmas. It's brighter colors then that dress and has a few extras that dress didn't have but it didn't turn out to bad. She will be wearing it when she takes our younger children out to trick or treat and we will be using grease paint to draw in stich marks on her skin lke what Sally had to make her look sown together aswell.

SO AWESOME!! I wanted to be that a couple of years ago (hmm, maybe next year...) But I didn't like the costume Spirit had and didn't have time to sew it together myself. My hair was really long back then too
Anyway, I might go cheap and have my mom make the costume for me (sew it, and I'll bloody it up) and hopefully I can find some awesome boots cheaper than $60 lol, but I would get them for $45 since I work at the halloween store...Why do I have to figure stuff out so late in the month?! lol

This Horse Mask changed my entire life. It is the honey to my honey nut cheerios, the cheese to my mac 'n' cheese and the spice to my love life. Great for picking up chickas and also a great accessory in the bedroom later on. I swear to you I have no idea what these other people mean by saying it's "Hard to see out of"... PSHAW!! I can see better through those nostrils than I can from my own two eyes. The mask makes me comfortable, and no longer awkward around girls. It helped me talk to my mother after 27 long years of hatred and we are now best friends. It's my go-to when I'm down in the dumps, my pick-me-up after a long hard day at the fish market (my work). This thing is better than anything I have ever purchased, ever. Like seriously, it's a better buy than the kidney that saved my life, or even the pizza that killed my insane, murderous cat (the pepperoni was rancid and I didn't get a chance to eat it before the devil ate the entire thing). This thing is the only thing that kept me going when I was suicidal. It arrived in its beautiful amazon box (I kept the box which I now call "The Stable) the day I was going to hang myself and I put it on. Instantly rejuvenated, I spent the night on the town with Toto and had a tensome. Yeah, it was worth the money.
