ya poly is a stiffer ride but IMO way better handling and then the next step up is the solid aluminium ones (at least fo rthe cradle) if i was doing a daily driver rubber all the, hot rod street racer with a need to own all around corners and no worries about my lower back hurting when i hit railroads....poly.

I like rubber on the street car and poly on my track car.
The squeaks, ride compromise, and noises have no place on my daily driver - but I couldn't stand the track car without.
Well said. In that I don't have a car dedicated strictly to the track, I've gone back to rubber for my Formulas. The amount of time I've spent auto-crossing is minute compared to the amount of time my cars spend on the road. I've had poly and the ride makes the decision easy for me. Yes, they are better for competition IMO but, I compete for fun, not financial gain so.............................

Thank you, for The Cave. The bushing article is spot on. Polyurethane bushing, are for most, just another way to separate them from their money. I have never felt the need to change my bushings (though I guess I should) and my Fieros handle the turns in a manner which turns me on. As you mention, changing my old stock for new stock should amaze me. I doubt that new rubber measured against new poly would register much in difference without G force calculating abilities.
With grease poly lasts for just about ever. I grease mine up every 10k miles. Like most mods for performance there are major draw backs in the comfort area and there is also added maintenance. It's like comparing stock tires to sticky summer only performance tires.
Anybody have the delrin bushings like WCF sells?

If we are speaking strictly Fieros, I would advocate poly in the cradle and rear contrrol arms and front sway bar in any Fiero. I replaced the front a-arms with poly and cut the springs a coil, and while there wasn't much dive and it cornered really hard, I could have done with less constant road vibration through the steering wheel - I would consider this 'spirited' daily driving. I can't speak to any other poly mods - I had a poly dogbone, but never saw any great benefit.
