Too bad I didnt see this thread earlier and find out you were going again this year. I was there all 4 days and it was amazing. There were a sh1tload of Camaros there this year, sort of like all the Challengers that were there last year. Sema is all about the new products, and they are the new hot thing.
Heres a few pics of one of the cars I liked the most. Built from a new Camaro, but since Im a Pontiac guy (and own a 73 Formula)

great way to lose a lot of unsprung weight!... wonder if it handles heat as well as cast rotors?
Yes they are better in every way except cost. Ferrari F1 uses them at $4000.00 a rotor thats $16,000.00 a brake job, now they only use them during practice and change for qualifing then again for the race. Thats 3 times in one weekend for Oh say $48,000.00 and you want to go racing, LOL. thanks Norm

ive got pics of the Trans Am too. Looks 20 times better than the Camaro. Id buy one of those, the originals were my fav.
And after the Mopar Nats this past summer, you COULD buy 2010 Cuda coupe/ convertibles. It was an aftermarket company that takes Challengers and converts them for you.

SEMA 2010: CORVETTE. I forgot what years the kit was made for, but I believe it's 2005 forward. IMHO it was one of the best Corvette rebody at SEMA. The kit sells for 89k.
It appears to be Celica headlamp, but when I mentioned it-the owner said "custom" well maybe the inside, but the shape is Celica.
The designer also tweaked those tired Corvette side mirrors-now ya' talkiing!
Side vents seem to be items from various makes of cars. I think the vent here is either custom or parts from Audi or BMW.
Once again, the designer retweaked that tire rear hatch glass and used custom Lexan similar to the older Corvette from the 60s. I saw two versions sporting the old style split window-one was glass and this designer here has Lexan or plastic. He said custom glass in being made for the kit.
The rear too was tweaked using Ferrari like lenses. The body is made of fiberglass, but combined with some other type of material to make the parts stronger.
I really like this modification. He used the area designed for the reverse lamps and instead moved the exhaust since the reverse is now at the top.

The red on the first camaro is Killer ! No wonder he was trying to keep it secret. Best way to find out is to go around. Find out who painted the car, then ask them. They tend to be more forthcoming than the owner hehehe.
Curly those two split window corvettes were part of the tv show CHOP, CUT, REBUILD. They have shown a couple snipets of the build this season, and they said they were building two of them.
I cannot swear to it, but i thought they were C6 cars, but it could have also been C5, i forget. sucks getting old.
Did you see any unique hood or decklid scoops, or vents ?

If I have to ask and beg for the color codes-I just assume forget it and the owner of the modified corvette was a bit reluctant in giving out information (maybe it was the Budlight he was holding in his hand was the case), but he did mentioned Chop, & Cut Rebuild.
As for "scoops and decklids" I did look at various modifications on cars and such. The Banshee Camero (or what ever it was) had a really nice rear rocker vent. All of the pictures taken were focused on the details. Granted, the "KoolVille" Caddy was out of this world, so I had to spend some time taking in all of the tweaks.

The hood, roof ,and certain parts of the wing were made of carbon fiber material. I like the custom nose vs. stock, but I'd hate to be the one who cracks it on a curb.
HRE wheels.
