Todd, if you really wanted an answer, you would have asked
"If Obama wins re-election, and things don't improve during his second term, will people who voted for him concede he is part of the problem?"
Instead, you chose an intentionally leading and inflammatory question and now you wonder why people won't answer, claiming its proof of how much liberals are in denial.
Well done good sir! Reading comprehension.
Now we just have to wait and see if YOU are accused of never taking a stand or some other "dishonorable" crime-on-demand. You will probibly just be accused of "still not answering the question". And being a Democrat, liberal, progressive, etc. etc. etc. etc. ad infinitum.
Maybe you will even get the very practiced speech regarding the theroy as to the reason why there are those that find it difficult "answering exceedingly simple and direct questions" (as if this even was one) because of something other then "ability or intelligence".
I mean BESIDES the reason you or I gave.

4 pages deep now, and not a single one of you can answer the question. I've answered every deflective question that's been given to me. It's pretty obvious that this isn't about what's right and wrong, it's about the fact that people were raised a certain way and are unable to let go, no matter how bad things get.

And you still don't get it. You phrased the question to those that had already done a predetermined thing. Maybe they just haven't showed up yet.

Boondawg, you can tip-toe around whatever you want, but the fact of the matter is... you, as well as the others here HAVE actually answered. I fully expected a NO (or a refusal to answer). What I couldn't believe was just how difficult this would be for you guys. Hah... it's MUCH MUCH worse than I thought.
Makes me wonder if making decisions for you people are as difficult in your every day lives as this simple question is.

Fine, I'll ask. If Obama wins re-election, and things don't improve during his second term, will people who voted for him concede he is part of the problem?

I can't answer that. I'm not one of them.

"You guys" and "you people" are the individuals who have the inability to find fault in the Obama Administration. They are the same individuals who appear to be oblivious to the current state of the economy, and yet despite that, are unable to consider the possibility that the administration might be the problem.
FYI: the "?" goes before the ending quote in a sentence.
It should say: Who are "you guys" and "you people?"

Yes, if Obama wins re-election and turns the economy around I will be impressed and I won't blame him anymore.
Now let's see you do it. If Romney wins the election, and turns the economy around, you won't blame Republicans anymore.
I don't just blame the Republicans in the first place, so I'm sorry but I can't answer the question as it's worded. I blame all politicians and the system that created them. Will that change if someone pulls off a 4th quarter Hail Mary? No, not really because they're going to play the game again and again and we'll end up right back here again eventually. I'm sorry I'd like to pick a team and blame everything on the other guys, but I'm not that unintelligent. If this is anyone's fault then it's all of ours, as we keep letting a corrupt system put us in this position, regardless of who sits in the chair.

And I believe you're mistaken on the grammar lesson. He wasn't quoting a question you made. The only reason to include punctuation before a quotation mark is if it was part of the original quote.
