Every year i make a new mask for a friends halloween party. This year I chose to make a version of the Pyramid Head in the game/movie Silent Hill. Thought I would share.

I love custom costumes. I made my own as well, though a little less scary. I'm White Goodman for Halloween this year.

I am looking forward to the final look! So far so good! When will it be done?

Wow! That is very very cool. That is the guy who carries The huge sword, right? I am impressed by the finish technique, how you made everything look realistic metallic. Any tips on what you used to give it that patina?

Awesome! Ive loved and hated the Silent Hill series - mainly cause if you replace the air raid siren they use when its going to night with a fog horn and put more things with red/yellow glowing eyes around and youd get 98% of what I dream about just about every night.... >_>

Im experimenting with the finish still. I painted a light brown primer for the rust color then i sprinkled a thick layer of salt over the parts i wanted to have the rusted look. Spray a hammered metal effect paint over it all then brush off most of the salt. When i am finished ill go in with an air brush and give it the detail it needs. This thing needs to be done tomorrow night!

ptramid head was the reason for all my nightmares for a good 3 years after playing silent hill.. the game and the movie series are just awesome.. I like how it dident take the turn resident evil did.. with each movie resident evil made as well as games it became more adventure and less scary.. silent hill is scary from beginning to end...

Yeah, its been a minute... She ended up getting a GTP, I ended up getting into Turbo Buicks....and everyone else drives 2 seater sports cars in my family but me 0.o

Saw that new trailer for the new Silent Hill movie today - cant wait to see it!
