Songs that are arranged in a way that provides alternating lines of six and eight syllables each are known to be arrange by the "Common Meter"...
Good examples of this are Amazing Grace, The Pokemon Theme, House of the Rising Sun, Yellow Rose of Texas... And Gilligan's Island Theme Song...

Hahaha.. I didn't read the information and watched the entire video without subtitles. I thought they were going to mix and match it up there on the video.
I knew a lot of songs were interchangeable like this, and have always subconsciously noticed the "Common Meter" but never had a name for it. Very cool, thanks.
