The movie didn't get real good reviews, but I found the movie to be interesting, and not a bad time killer. For those of us who were around in the 60's, we never forget the period where tensions were high, and some people even building bomb shelters in back yard or basement.

The movies was inspired by actual events during that period, although we all know neither side is going to tell you everything that went on. When I look back at that period, we sure came close to blowing ourselves up:

yep... saw it... liked it... then spent part of the next day browsing wikipedia on the details.

They could make a whole follow up movie on Howard Hughes Corp building that spy boat/crane craft to raise the hulk and what they found...
