Basically in health class we had this discussion on veins, today and i was wondering whats the difference, between the carotid and jugular vein? i know the jugular veins are in your neck, but what about the carotid artery, is it in your neck?

I'm not good with anatomy, but I hear there was somewhere that you can search for answer. For some strange reason I can't think of where that might be. I'm sure it is at my finger tips but it slips my mind. This is really mind boggling...

hrm... the diagram helps, but is there a diagram pointing it out with a frontal view? it doesnt really matter, i cant seem to find one, and i wanted to see if anyone had any better luck.
Edit, i found a pulse that is in the trachea, or windpipe area, could that be it? Btw, Dragon pmed me after he saw this topic, told me its the carotid artery that are in the neck, not the jugular veins (i think he meant the thing you check if you went running for a while)

You could Google "Internet Search Engines", that might help you find the thing you were thinking of.
