even if they total the car you can get the money from the insurance company and buy the car back . and it never has to leave your brothers house. im sure even if its totaled someone will still buy the complete car.

I am so sorry you got hit. I hope everyone is in good health and not hurt. Your Car is a wonderful example of a clean Fiero, and I hope you get the chance to fix this or sell the car to someone who can restore it to the original glory of all your hard work.
All right, the insurance company and I have finally come to an agreement on the value of the car. Please do not ask what the value is as it is upsetting to me.
I am asking $2700 for my Fiero complete running car. Car runs and drives fine. Bumper is pushed in on passenger side and will need to be repaired and painted, trunk pan is bent in two corners, passanger tail light is broken, passenger side exhaust will need a bit of repair, and rear fastback clip needs body work and paint. Decklid still pops and closes fine. Car is in driveable shape with the addition of a tail light. The bumper and bumper support attach point are hit pretty good.
Crash pictures to follow shortly as well pictures of frame damahe with bumper removed.
Should be an easy project for a body guy.

I don't know the exact details of your insurance company or policy but when you do aftermarket work to vehicle you have to let the company know. If you get into an accident with a vehicle, they will take the value of the car as the value of the car stock plus factory options minus mileage. Some policies ever have additional coverage for custom equipment. The reason they do this is if the stock value of the car is 5k and the modded version is worth 25k they want you paying a premium on a 25k car.

I am having a friend snap some pictures today. I figure I could part this car out for more, but I don't have the time or place to do this and I really don't have the heart to part this car out.
