Received some pics from a member on the forum (with a very nice looking GT by the way ) and he said I could post these on here. From the pics, they would make excellent replacement windows. So MsLoriFiero, please let me know when you will have more of these to sale... I am interested in purchasing a set.

Don't know how well you can see the details in these pics because I had to resize them.

First, it was nice meeting you Mslori and the rest of the Fiero Factory crew, I have to say everyone there was a true gentleman or lady. I would like to point out something, first mistakes happen, 2nd - sh*t happens - especially when things are just starting out... remember the 84 fiero engines that caught on fire?
Mslori has some neat products, she might not click her heels 3 times and things are ready, but thats life. things take time, especially when things are out of her control. if theres a problem - email her politely, im sure she has a life outside of fieros so it might take a little time, patience is virtue

I also saw her windows at the swap meet, she only had a select few there - mostly the stock look. she apologized because I requested she hold a blue set for me as I was coming down, but the only blue set she had was scratched or something, she told me to give her about a week and ill email her to confirm if the new batch is done, as she had just gotten the material in. The yellow, and the red I saw were awesome.

I have to say, the Yellow is the best - the "GT" shows through VERY well, as it is a lite color.
btw Mslori had alot of "Misprints" for sale with clocks mounted in them as wall pieces, really cheap. if anyones interested she might still have some.

I will be ordering my blue set as soon as she has them ready.

Don had a meeting with the screen printing shop today. They will be making a new set of screens and everything will be screen printed from now on. This is good, and in a way not so good. We were having them screen print the back half and leaving the front half clear so we could add custom graphics for people and then we painted the front half over the logos. This is part of what caused the problem, the screen printer wasn't getting the dot matrix in the same place on every one. they will have to now, but unfortunately, it will mean that we can no longer offer custom graphics, but that should mean the end to getting them misprinted. It also will be around 3-4 weeks before any new windows get made. It will take them a week to get the new screens made, and then Don will be in Houston the following week in the art car parade with his car, and then 2-3 weeks after he gets home to get new ones made. if any of you will be in the Houston area the weekend of Mother's day should go see the parade. I will also start a new thread once they are ready as this one has been filled up with to much other things. But check out the parade, http://www.orangeshow.org/artcar.html and everyone have a wonderful evening.

Lori

No, the GT is not considered custom, it will be on them.

Leaving the logo off would still be an option, The screen printing process is a 3 step process now, leaving the logo off would just mean skipping one step.

I'm looking for just a passenger side pannel w/ any logo, misprint, etc. Mine blew off one day coming home on the highway. Although I recovered it, the pannel is scuffed and scratched. Are there any singles available?

Thought I'd check to see how much progress has been made with the production of the windows. It's been a while since I've seen anything posted. Any plans to have any made soon? Thanks!

The window project is on hold temporarily. Because of some QA issues and disagreements over what to do about them, I decided to have them made by a professional plastic fabricator. They are in the process of making new molds, and I am waiting on them. Hopefully they will be able to start production soon.

I'm still waiting on the molding shop, they do seem to be taking their time, I have waited while one person and then the other went on vacation. They did call me to come down last week and showed me the new molds and a few sample windows. We are real close to starting production back up with a very experienced molding shop. He is now working on a routing fixture, that way once they come out of the molds, they will be placed in the routing fixture, so all of them will be trimmed the same, that was the main problem with the person that made the first batch, they weren't all trimmed out the same way, which caused the misprints. I know this has taken a lot more time than I expected, but I would rather wait a little longer, and have the quality windows I would be proud to sell. I have invested several thousand dollars into this project, so the sooner they can start production, the better. I also understand that this shop also has other clients that spend much more with them than I do, so I wait, but when I say they are ready, they will be right. Sorry for the delay.

Even with the small problems; These Quater windows are the best i have seen so far ... i would even take them over Stock OEM NOS because, i got a set of the last of the NOS's and with a few Hours in the sun they started to Crack... hey are still 20 years old...! So hopefuly these new stamp molds are better than the old injection molds... correct me if i'am wrong.
Keep up the great job...! I LOVE the ones i got on the first run...! So ( the best is yet to come ) ?

Thanks Keith, this is true, the guys were out today to test fit a set of windows on a GT, It looks like as soon as the screen printer gets the new screens made to fit the new windows, we will be back in production. I know this has been a long time coming and I want to Thank everyone for their patience, but I wasn't going to settle for 2nd quality windows, I think I will be happy with this new company, and if I'm happy with them, I think everyone will be. I also would like for everyone to welcome Keith as the newest member to the Fiero Factory

Very cool!
That's good news.

Lori, There are people who have been asking me about your windows. I told them that they're still in the works.

Keith, welcome to the Fiero Factory! I've known many of the folks there for years. A great group of people.
You are working the "dream job" of more than a few of us.

At this time, I am planning to sell them as sets, that is the way I have to buy them. To be honest, I don't know what the final price will be yet, I have to wait and see what my cost will be once production starts, I have invested several thousand dollars into this project.

Hi Lori,
Hey guys I'm new here and I came for windows. Lori it sounds like you might have what I was looking for. I like the fact that you have a discerning taste and that you want quality. I would not be happy with anything less myself...for my baby that is. Just in case you did not get my e-mail I would like to order a set of factory tint for my GT as well. I just need a little help when your ready for my money !

Doc.
