Fiero T-top owner’s have been waiting for this moment for a very long time, now that it’s here don’t let it pass you by!
Fiero Parts and Appraisals has (after many attempts) found a manufacture that is going to reproduce the Fiero “CJB” T-top roof weather strip seals for us. In the past when we had the Borla exhaust system made for us and had a very hard time getting those that committed to a system to pay for it once it showed up. This is the reason for the payment terms below. This is how we are going to do this for the seals, we are only going to do a pre-paid order, we need 50 (or more) sets to be pre-sold before we will give the go ahead to have the molds made and place the order. All subsequent orders will also be 50 or more. These seal are being made of top quality materials and under a strict quality control program and every part will be inspected by me before it gets shipped, which is nothing new for me. To make a single mold for one seal would be upwards of $50,000 each. This company will making many molds and hand assembling the seal like they have been doing for the past 56 years. They do low production runs for BMW, Bentley, Rolls Royce just name a few and have done one offs for GM, Ford, VW and private collectors all over the world. They are being sold in sets only. No discounts for more then one set ordered. These will be a very small runs and we may not be ordering any extras sets to keep in stock.. We are being told that from the day the contract is signed and a sample set is sent to us and approved, it could take up to 2 ˝ to 3 months before we have them ready to ship. This will not be a open-ended order, if after a appropriate amount time determined by me has gone by without the minium number of seals sold the order will not be placed and no seals will be produced
These are the only terms under which we will be accepting the pre-order payments.
1. Money order or bank check only with no expiration date on the face of the check. 2. Return addressed envelope. (no postage is needed). 3. A valid address for shipping your seals. 4. If you are ordering other t-top parts, a list of what you are ordering is needed. 5. All orders are final once paid, unless we do not meet the 50 orders. 6. Orders will be filled in the order that the payment is received NO EXCEPTIONS. 7. Checks will be made out to Fiero Parts and Appraisals and sent to P.O. Box 1186 Saco, Maine 04072
************************************************************************************************************ To try to get this moving faster would it make it any easer for you if you could pay with PayPal? You would have to pay the fees, that will add 15.50 to each set. ************************************************************************************************************
The price is $480.00 per set. You will be getting, one left “CJB” roof seal and one right “CJB” roof seal, shipping will be $10.00 to the lower 48 only. More outside of that. If you wish to order P-seals and or glass seals to convert to the “CJB” style roof seals. please email me at parts@fieroparts.com for pricing and shipping of the additional parts. Have a question other than for the additional parts, you can email me at tim@fieroparts.com If you do not like the price or have a negative commit please keep it to yourself, we are NOT making much on these parts. This is the price you pay to have low volume parts custom made. In the event we do not meet the 50 orders all funds will be returned via your self addressed enclosed envelope you will be sending with your payment.
Thank You Timothy Perrigo Owner Fiero Parts and Appraisals

Tim, you have done some good work and I do not mean to sound difficult. Fact is, my T Tops do not leak and wind noise is surprisingly quiet. When I renew I want to do it all. Just went and looked/examined my seals. I presume the glass seals rides the outer edge ot the T Top glass, mating the A and B columns. Upon close examination, my T Top seals mate (are seamed) with a different, lower door seal. Your exploded view I linked does not show exactly what you are offering. Unless it is item 15 in which case it is not a complete representation as my seal # 15 goes to the bottom of both the A and B pillars. But not around the door bottoms. I would wonder why not. Maybe it has been resealed. Again, not trying to be difficult, just want my money to count. EDIT Glass seals would be #16, shingle seals ?

Hi Tim, Thanks for putting the effort in to this project. Hopefully the Fiero Community realizes the effort that it takes to get something like this done and starts sending you money.
Out of curiosity, how much additional cost is there for the pair of glass seals ? And do you have enough pairs to cover the projected production of 50? I am thinking that with brand new seals, there will be a good majority of us that will prefer new glass seals; especially if the customer has a non-cjb car.
I see that there is some confusion about the differences between a CJB and Non-CJB roof and glass seal. Might I suggest that you post some pictures showing the differences. From personal experience, I know that a Non-CJB glass seal does not seal very well on a CJB roof seal. Actually there is qite a bit of difference in the glass seal. Might help you sell a few sets quicker.
We have about 150 sets of the CJB glass seals in stock, we will price the glass seals based on how many sets of the roof seals one buys.
You could not show very well what sets the CJB seal from the NON-CJB apart by a picture. It's just the way that they meet at the glass.

Just as soon as I can come up with the additional $480 or is it $490, you'll get my check. Like most folks, Fieros are my passion and hobby, putting beans on the table and a roof over that table are my first priority.

Tim, Thanks for all your work on this project; I hope you get the 50 orders. I'm definitely in for a set; but unfortunately a few weeks out from pulling the funds together. I will let you know as soon as I am ready to send the money...I completely understand the need for commitments in cash...its a big investment.

Can't commit just yet... Wallet won't let me. Do have interest though. If this works out and these get produced before I can send money, I do want a set so please keep me in mind and hold a set for me if it is possible. I'll get caught up sometime this year. I keep getting letters from Bill and Sam at the post office telling me I need to pay them. Unfortunately, when I get them paid, they want more. Go figure.

The price quote for the molds and seals we were given is only good until July 7th, Sometime before that date (around June 30th) we have to decide if we want to pay for the molds and the 50 sets of seals out of our pocket without the full amount of prepaid orders that are helping to cover some of the costs, or to just let this die. If we pay for the molds and the 50 sets of seals, the price of a set of seals will go up, way up, to cover our long term investment costs and keeping stock on the shelves is a big part of that. Those that have a paid order in will be locked in at that price. If you want to be locked in at this price you have until JUNE 30th. to get payment to us, you will need to have the funds here by that date. As it is priced now, we need to sell about 86 sets before we see any profit, so right now this is a losing proposition. We did modify our payment terms so that if some wanted to use a credit card could do so thru PayPal with the added fees to be added to your total cost. We are trying (for the third time) to bring these to market so those that need them will have something, other then a leaky roof. If this fails its back to square one, and that's nothing. We know it's a lot of money for some, just keep in mind that this will be (more than likely) your only chance at getting these seals.
Tim,

My T top says C&C on the glass. Will these seals fit it? Thanks
ALL Fiero t-top cars were done with C&C parts. These will fit your car one way or the other. What year car do you have? If it's a 88 the last 6 of the vin and I can look in my book and tell you if it was a CJB car or not.

I wish I was back in the states right now. I'm currently deployed in the Pacific and don't have access to my check book. If I had the check book with me I would send a check right now. I guess it's time to convince the wife that this is another one of those for richer or poorer situations she married me for. When she married me she accepted me, car addiction and all. If I can convince her I'm in for a set or two.

You could always do Paypal? It cost more, buy might be easier for you.
