I have a few more questions about this engine. It seems to be the wrong one! Where is the 330hp Vortec engine? We need to talk...

Hey Yons. Just a reminder to get back to me on this engine. Where did it come from and how can it be 330hp? These are generic GM heads. Let me know soon, huh?

According to his car domain it's Summits 330 horse engine which is this engine:

http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=NAL%2D12496968&N=700+115&autoview=sku

Which basically does have generic GM heads (Vortec heads).

You buy the car or something?

Yeah - I bought it, but it does not have Vortec heads. The heads look like this...

What's the part number on the heads, probably be better to start a new thread in the tech section. Sounds like you found a good deal.

Here is Yon's description on Cardomain:

The car has Archies v-8 kit, summit racing crate 350 with 330 hsp and it only has 5 miles on the motor, the underneath has been por 15, poly bushings all the way around, the whole front suspension has been powercoated, the outside has been repainted including the door jambs and trunk area, custom sub box in the front, the interior has been taken apart and redone,it has a rollbar in it, the windows have been tinted, kyb shocks on all 4 corners it has fiberglass sidescoops, i added a sunroof. Im looking to get $50000.00 or BO out of it and WHAT A STEAL!!!!! or trade for a lowrider pick-up. Everything is put back together too. ill have to get some updated photos of the car.. He still says it is the 330 hp with Vortec heads (and to not call him about the car ever again) - but the Vortec heads are mysteriously NOT THERE?! I don't understand why I always get the short end of the stick. I got a good deal, but this is not what I paid for. (Saxman gets deceived yet again )

Strange - but he sent a message almost every day up until I bought it...

It's been his pattern to do things like this

https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum4/HTML/030090.html

https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum4/HTML/021717-3.html

I stopped trying to work with him cause he'd promise the money was in the mail, but never showed up. Weeks later he'd cancel on the deal. I'm sorry that he did it again.

Matt

It's funny to look at how happy I was when I first got this car ( https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/076693.html ). Now I just want to get it on the road, but it may take a while...
