I just recieved this cupholder

- It fits very well,
- I Think it looks better in person than in the photos ( the color is better in person _ I got the black one )

only drawback is you loose a some of the armrest.
overall very happy with it.

That's a shame. I would love to be ale to do an easy "drop in" guage upgrade.

For what its worth, I too think you are on to something with the gauge pods. I think you should keep this up, because some Fiero people are not cheep, and will spend a few bucks to have something new and different. Not me, cause I’m cheep, but some would do this.

JCL86GT was looking for cup holders in General Fiero Chat. I thought this thread deserved a bump.

I'm sorry, but the person that was making these for me and I have parted ways and haven't spoken in several months. I do intend to find someone else to make them for me once I get the windows into production and they aren't taking all my time.

Kinda curious too. I've read in this thread that they were too expensive. How much were they?

Those were the only ones made, or will ever be made or sold by me. They were just to much work involved verus the interest in them, and the person that made those 2 has quit making anything and has retired. Sorry

I saw these at Carlise and was waiting for them to go into production as you were not selling them at the time. Since no more will be made, and if you still have them. What are the prices for these clusters and cup holder?

Thanks for the update. I have enough parts to make the Firebird clusters like that, but it would take a lot of effort and my fiberglass skills are not up to it, and they would be expensive. Still I bet a few might be interested in them.

If you are looking for cup holders, something that doesn't just hang onto the dash somewhere, you can see my new designs at:

www.hi-rizer.com

We have a new model called the Solo ready for release next Friday (pricing announced on that day).

Thanks

As for the dash, anyone that wants to make them, good luck, as for my cup holder, I have redesigned them a little and they will be back into production at some point, so DarrenHB, you can quit high jacking my threads.

Lorie, I am wondering, since you may be doing a refinement on your design, if you would consider modifying it such that the lower "tray" portion was eliminated as an option. The console attachment would remain the same, only the tray portion would be absent. I tend to lean on the console with my right forearm and swing my legs in when entering my Fiero. If the tray portion was not there, it would be perfect......for me.
