I am going to start offering my F355 interior kits to the Fiero population for the first time ever. These are the original interiors that came with the Mirage a few years back. They will fit any Fiero in unmodified form, so you don't have to have a body kit to make these work. These will be offered in raw fiberglass and will require upholstery. They take inexpensive Honda vents as well as retaining your Fiero instrument cluster or making a new panel to install custom guages. The center console will work with the fuel tank in the original location and does not require the flat floor conversion. These are not as nice as the other interiors out there right now, but they are very reasonably priced and offer up something different than the Fiero interior at a low cost.
Here is what is included:
Both door panels Both arm rests Both door handle bezels Both door panel upper covers Center console Computer cover Upper dash assembly Lower dash assembly (includes passenger side knee bolster with guage mount and driver side knee bolster) Guage cluster
I am planning to do these in just plain gelcoat, but will do certain pieces in Carbon Fiber or other material if needed for an upcharge. Most of the kit would not look good this way other than the arm rests, center console and maybe the dash. Cost on the entire kit is $750 plus shipping. Obviously any specialty fabrics will be extra. I do these to order as I don't have alot of room to stockpile a bunch of parts and require a small deposit to build one. I take Paypal, cash, cashier's checks (as long they aren't from Nigeria) or personal checks (must wait for them to clear). My Ebay username is AnswerPC so you can check my feedback.
Ok, here goes with the pics - hope this works!

Thanks for posting the pic. Of course you all figured out this is not the Lambo Mirage kit, but the Ferrari F355 Mirage interior. It includes everything in the pic abov plus the computer cover. It is holding the dash up in this pic so I didn't get it in there. I can do individual parts if you want, just name it. Price wise I would rather just do it on a PM basis as I want to be fair.
This interior kit in the picture had been kicking around the shop for awhile, hence it's dirty banged up appearance. The new ones will be clean ;-)
Thanks and PM me or post here with any questions.

I don't have any kits ready right now. They take me about 3 or 4 days to complete. The pic is not the greatest as it was taken in the rain and I had not cleaned up the parts at all. I will lay another kit up this week and get some better pics up by weeks end. I also will post some of a completed car so you can see what it looks like. That is if I can get PIP to work tonight.

Good news everyone - thanks to a fellow forum member I was finally able to post some pics! Thanks again for the help - I am sure it was the operator, not the program!

I suppose if you were handy you could fabricate the center console filler to hold the aux guage panel since you would have to fabricate a flat plate to hold aftermarket guages anyway. The nice thing about this dash setup is that it is more or less a blank slate for you to mock it up any way you like. Alot of the dash kits out there force you to mount your heater control, headlight switch or guages in a particular place. I don't cut any of that out leaving alot of possible mounting points for these items.
As far as vents I believe these are off earlier model Honda Civic's, but I might be wrong. These are older pics that were of cars I did not build, but this is a Mirage kit. I have yet to catually put one together for myself, I guess I should so I am a bit more educated. Time is my enemy, maybe someone will figure out a way to squeeze more hours out of the day!
Yes, these body panels I also produce. This is a kit that is already sold, but I can do more. I do Spyder or Berlinetta designs, with or without the interior kits. $4500 for Spyder and $4900 for Berlinetta with interiors, $750 less if you don't want the interior. The Mirage is one of the nicest out there, and up until now unobtainable. Jon Watson has a very nice kit, probably nicer and a little more true to form, but the price is right on these and they are MUCH better than the IFG kits floating around.

The entire kit is designed around the Fiero, but you have to install it as a complete kit. The doors work with both the Mirage front fenders and rear quarter assembly.
so you are saying I cant just snap these door skins on to my 85 notchie?
the exterior door skins no... the interior door panels yes.. if you used the exterior skin you wouldn't be able to open your door, and it wouldnt line up with the rest of the body..
ok, i'm confused now. does this mean the body kit you have to stretch the fiero to make it work or what? probably a dumb question but nobody really posted a straight answer. thanks

Thanks guys for all the inquiries. I guess allow me to explain a little as I did probably confuse a few by posting the exterior body kit above. The interior F355 fiberglass kit with door panels, dash and center console WILL fit a stock Fiero just fine. No mods to the exterior required. The exterior body kit of the F355 shown is the Mirage kit and WILL fit a stock wheelbase Fiero, but MUST be installed complete as a kit. You cannot just put the bumpers on or just the doors. Like it was stated above, installing the doors you would not be able to open them if you had stock Fiero fenders on the front because the F355 fenders are much wider to accomodate the doors. I do sell the exterior body panel kits in the pictures above as well as the interiors. I figured alot of people like me were sick of the stock interiors and wanted a change from the norm that will bolt in so to speak. This interior WILL do just that.
Hopefully I have cleared a few things up, if not just PM or e-mail me and I will answer any questions you might have!
Thanks, Brent

thats kinda what i thought, but then people started posting and making it confusing. i'd be very interested in one of these kits, just to avoid the whole extending the frame and all. how much for the hardtop version with interior kit?

I am offering the hardtop with interior for $4900 and the Spyder with interior for $4500. Not a huge difference in price, but it accounts for the extra work and glass for the roof section. The shipping is up to you, though I will crate it for $150, cost of materials. I can deliver within a reasonable area of the Northwest. Within about 1000 miles of Portland or so, of course for a small delivery fee. It would probably be cheaper than the shipping and would eliminate the crating fee as I can load it all on my trailer.

You're making new Mirage kits? I think I'm gonna die now... I have wanted one since they first disappeared from the market! Of course... I can't afford one without selling just about every other toy I own. Bugger.

LOL
I built 2 of the originals back in 2000. I wish I had kept one for myself. I built a couple of the true replicas with the 3" stretch... I still think the mirage looks as good... If I had the $$ I'd order a complete kit right now...

News for the day: I am now able to do most of these pieces in carbon fiber as well. Of course it will not be cheap, but I think it would be different. I am having the mirrors done up in carbon fiber to see what they would look like. My first thought was the rear tail panel to replicate the Challenge cars, but then it dawned on me that I have never seen a pair of carbon fiber mirrors. I can also do the hood, decklid and even the interior pieces in carbon fiber. A dash in carbon would be kind of cool. I will have to experiement with this to see what I come up with. Pics to follow . . .
Oh, and for those that have always wanted this kit now is the time to buy. Not sure how long I can make them available.

The mirrors I have that come with the Mirage are the F355 style, not the Testarossa style. I have posted a few pics to show you what they look like. Keep in mind they are bare mirrors right out of the molds so they haven't been cleaned up yet. These you would have to build the metal mount to bolt them in place and remove the Fiero mirrors. You will also have to figure out how to plug the holes where the Fiero mirrors come out of. These accept the Fiero guts though.
I could do the Testarossa mirrors if I had a set to splash from.

How much for two mirrors? Will the *electric* Fiero mirror guts work in them? I'll get the interior peices later when I have more cash.... ;^D Thanks, ~ Paul aka "Tha Driver"
