Edited, I found out that Andrew and I had more in common in the Fiero world and I was a bit hard. Sometimes I wear my feelings on my key strokes. He made good on his work and that is more than enough for me to pull out my thoughts. Sorry Andrew if I upset you during this. Rick

F-I-E-R-O you have a tough life ahead of you as you ignored this post PERIOD. Now you come in trying to get a sorrowful ending. If any company in the U.S. tried this bull you would go out of business.
You still ignored the badges and tried to put it all on another member. I'm sorry but it is my honest opinion and I am sticking to it. 30 days or more or ignoring people and that huge post tossing blame all over is a poor excuse of a PFF member. Way back when you started this endeavor and screwed everyone over then did the same thing as you just did and they still came back to you and now you do it again expecting to wipe the slate clean?? This is not the way to run any business.
I am glad you are "AGAIN" trying to get your life back in order but the shame is ,, it is at others expense, feelings and trust.
Please folks don't start nailing me with bad rating marks for telling the truth nor F-I-E-R-O but if he pulls this again then I would say he deserves to be banned as any other who take advantage of PFF members time and money. Its a hard lesson to learn but sometimes it is needed. I would hope my posting makes him think about it and in some way makes the next time he decides to have a mental break down on one post but still post on others, he will come clean and not try to blame a car purchase for not being able to post on one thread but keep happily posting on another. Sounds crazy doesn't it??? I didn't do it he did. JMHO and I hope you get your life straight without affecting to many others along the way. RIck
Why do I even try to explain? I'll try to simplify it for you.
Depression>>>>Isolation Social interaction>>>>>>>>>>>PFF PFF related disappointments>>>>>>>>more depression and isolation Change in weather, planet arrangements, fairy dust floating out of the sky ??????????? >>>>>depression dissipates and I try to get things straightened out.
What would be easier? Making things right and moving on from here? YEP. What would be harder? Exposing myself here in an effort to try to help others understand what happened and possibly get some insight or support from others? Hell yeah. I'm glad your life is so perfect, stable and sane that it makes it difficult for you to understand. I've apologized and tried to explain as best I can, and from now on I'll be worried less about what others think and say. I can say that I have gotten quite a few pm's from people that have experienced what I went through, and the support and sentiments are something that I wish I had sooner than this- thinking that what I go through is something that only I go through and beating myself up for it is tougher than you can imagine. As far as big businesses go, there are many that realize that people have issues from time to time, which is why they have developed a great support system within their HR departments. I don't have that so I do the best I can. I don't want any sympathy- that does nothing for me. What do I want? Well, from what I can figure so far, just some closure on a difficult time and to move on. Sometimes things just effect me more than it does others, other times it doesn't. All I can do is try to use this as an opportunity to try to turn things around. If you want to help, great. If not, then move along- I can hit myself with a stick better than anyone here...
jimmys u were one bashing him the most now u are kissin his butt thats just wrong i know im new here but after reading stuff like this its no wonder why more young ppl arnt into our beloved lil toys yall run them off with stuff like this.
How in the hell do you come up with I was bashing him the most? I put 1 post up showing our PM's and stated the fact that I never got the CD. That is not bashing! That is stating a fact that pertains to the reason this thread was started in the first place. Did I call him a scam artist, a liar, a cheat a crook or anything else? NO! So shut your pie hole untill you have something that makes sense to say. In the words or Ron White... "Next time you have a thought.........Let it go".
Edit to add. If you bothered to read my whole post, you would see at the bottom of the post where I stated that He did a great job with the sig and poster, just never came through with the CD. Do yourself a favor. Don't post in threads that you have no dog in.
I can see why nobody in Tampa liked you. You have a total of 17 posts on this forum and I have only seen 1 of them and already I don't like you! Keep your nose out of things that do not pertain to you and the hate will go away. It's an amazing thing. You should try it sometime.
I have to apologize because I honestly forgot about this. Anyone that knows me knows that I can walk into another room and completely forget what I'm doing there- it happens ALL the time. I've got the DVD burned, in its case, envelope and addressed to FL for tomorrows mail. The links to upload the huge JPG and AI files are:
I've had a lot of luck with this site for speedy downloads so it should work OK for you- let me know if it doesn't. I'm a premium member, but I still think that there is only a 90 day storage life of the files if they are not downloaded. If they are, then I think the time extends. Depending on your internet speed, you may want to dl these just before you go to bed.
Thanks a lot Andrew. They downloaded just fine. I'm on cable internet. I can understand how things get forgotten. Happens to everyone. Once again in the words of Ron White... "Cause I forgot. Ever forget? Happened to me".

Andrew, since I DID start this thread, I'll see if I can't close it. You want closure right? I did get the Pay-Pal refund. Thank you. If and when I recieve the badges, I thank you. As I've stated before, no hard feelings, nothing personal. I try not to judge ANYONE but as far as your behavior is concerned regarding this matter, you have to understand that I will NEVER purchase anything from yourself or your e-Bay website again. Case closed, I'm outta here.

You know, I'm not sure what the laws are there, but if he really wanted to he could probably sue you for the the repairs that you knew of but didnt bother mentioning. bottom line, I'd shut up about it. from everything I've seen F-I-E-R-O does business pretty well, keep it up!

oh and when i first moved to houston i asked for help trying to find a car and only one guy even tryed to help me i eventually was given a rx7 by my friend so i could get around so im even leary about dealing with the houston guys they havnt showed much love for a guy thats new
Wow, that is not my experience AT ALL with the Houston club. Lone Star Fiero's have some of the nicest members a person can hope to meet, and in my years of experience with them, have never know them to treat a Fiero enthusiast in a way that would leave a bad taste. They have young & old(er) members, mexican, black, white... autoX guys and show only guys... they are awesome.
Sorry you somehow managed to get off on the wrong foot, but they are good people and a good club. Maybe just not as active as where you came from? Anyway, several are very active on PFF, just PM Jscott or Cheever3000. Either one would give you the shirt off their back, with a smile.
Brint --- you may want to edit your first post, and let the reader know that your issue was satisfactorily resolved. You can leave the part that made you start the thread even, just put a sentence giving the all clear.
FIERO --- FWIW, those dang photo's you find all over the internet crack me up. w/o typing a thing, you get a point across. Neat. Anyway, good luck getting your scene fully turned around. A very dear NTFC member is battling depression, and I know it is a hard thing to overcome. May you come through it stronger.

I've done a lot of business with Mark (3 cars and a bunch of parts over several years) and he's always been very straight-forward and honest with me. Told me what he thought the cars needed (if anything) and treated me right. I 'd do business with him again in a minute. I've never done business with F-I-E-R-O so I won't comment on his situation.
F-I-E-R-O: I know this won't make you feel any better, but I bought a car in much worse shape than that from a member in New Hampshire for $1500. It was presented on ebay as being "on the show circuit", among other things. When I first saw it and gave it a quick checkout I wouldn't pay my original ebay bid because it didn't live up to implied discription. (I was the runner up, winning bidder had refused the car). The seller and I agreed to a reduced price. Thought I could save it, It turned out so bad that I never did get it roadworthy. Had to strip it down and transfer the usable stuff to another frame. I've learned a lot about Fieros from and since that experience. I won't buy cars on ebay anymore.

I'm still up for a Supercharged badge when you get everything in order, which I'm sure you will. I would have spoken for you, but saw since you were posting... That you would when you were ready. Keep your head up, and I was screwed on a Fiero I bought too. It was towed away before I could get it though. Keep your chin up, and we'll throw a party when everything is set straight and moving forward (No helium balloons!)

Your last post was a good read. And I do regret hitting below the belt with some of the ultra harsh criminal, and head shrinker comments. Like you,Andrew,I felt this building inside.Jab after jab untill it boils over.
I liked you the day I met you. I was set back and in shock when I got your email later that same day how much you hated the car... I never ever ever meant to sell you a car you felt was so bad... Even now,I still feel that your Fiero is a good car.You have got to believe me,that I did not know about alot of the broken things that you speak of. Like the fuel guage, heat(I forgot to put the damn t-stat back in..),EGR,alignment,radio,etc etc.. I buy alot of Fieros, and love to save them, and re-sell them.Hell I have 20 here at home now.I knew the car would need some this or that, but I never thought it would get to you so badly.
Drop me an email,would ya?
I will edit my posts too. Good luck getting back on both feet, and take care.

I for one would trust F-I-E-R-O with whatever he asked for, I also understand the short memory (trust me I understand)
I have forgotten many things I was supposed to do for people on here, to the point that I was thinking about having a disclaimer sig made. Some people have brought the forgotten items to my attention, to which I fixed it, or forgot it again, and some need to get ahold of me, cause I sometimes (seriously) have problems remembering my wifes name, let alone what member I talked to, and what I was doing for him/her. I do keep notes on the desktop of my computer, on my phone, and on a notebook I have at work, and one in the car. It helps, maybe you should start doing that F-I-E-R-O.
As for all the stuff going on with the Car, badges, C.D. I can't vouch either way, I can say I know F-I-E-R-O from the forum, and I would take his word over a complete stranger.
I P.M.'d F-I-E-R-O several times asking where to send a paypal to help Jerry, and was basically told NO, that he was thinking gift certificates to a local parts store sent directly to Jerry would be better.(I can post the P.M. if Andrew says it's O.K.) I also posted in a couple of threads asking the same thing, I never got a response that I saw.
In either case, I don't think there is any cause to tell someone to go to hell, or cause a huge argument over this stuff, especially if its been fixed, or is in the process of being fixed.

WOW, I am impressed. Mark, you have my complete respect gained in one simple post, it took a real man to stop the arguing, and you stepped up. I hope people on here can learn from what you just did.

A member pm'd me about something that I hadn't thought to mention in this thread. Over the last few months, I've been trying several different medications to try to correct my mood. One of them in particular called Geodone really sucked the life out me and the others really didn't have any positive effects at all. There's more to what was going on than some of the things that I mentioned here that brought me down that I won't bother going into, suffice it to say that I was trying disparately to find some kind of solution to fix it. One of the problems with my physiology is that drugs either hit me hard, not at all, or I build a tolerance to the medication in a very short period of time. It's so frustrating!
Mark, damn you! Now I have to go back and edit my posts- and I really liked the biiitch slap image! Maybe I'll just leave that on there but edit all the references to why it's there...
I'm amazed at how many members have pm'd me to let me know that they understand how I felt because they have been there themselves or know someone who is/has been. Some of them I didn't even know where members here! It's like being two people, and I can look back at the past now and wonder how or why it happened. I can totally understand the reactions and comments and don't hold any hard feelings about them from anyone. I just hope that I can use what I've experienced and learned to help someone else when they're going through the same thing.

I hope this is not a bash at me! I tried to set up a Caravan to Carlisle, this year when we were at Watkins Glen. I got together with everyone that I knew, and explained the plan . After PM'ing a few people, it was realized everyones times didn't work out. And the last post I seen from you was that you were leaving Saturday morning. I had reservations for Friday night and couldn't reschedule them. Maybe I was wrong, in that I did not contact after seeing your post about your departure time, but you seemed ok about it Saturday when I talked to you. Am I wrong here? -Jason
NEVER! How could I ever be upset with you? You're too damn cute to ever get mad at! You do bring up a good point that I forgot to mention. One of the things that I'm good at is coming across as out going and AOK when I might not be. Seems weird, and I don't know how to explain it to anyone who doesn't have any experience with someone who does this, but my wife who knows me better than anyone can tell. The reason I got there so late was that I had a hard time talking myself into going. I wanted to go so badly, but had a difficult time pushing myself into actually doing it. By the time I did, the inevitable happened. I found that the situation I was dreading was made worse by my indecision. People where leaving, I was there by myself wandering around and let a crappy little experience at a local restaurant upset me. Next year I'll plan it better and take your suggestion about showing up on Friday and staying over for Saturday.

I just want to say, if anyone is still mad a F-I-E-R-O, who is interested in sending $ to help Bobadoofunk, if you feel more comfortable sending the paypal to me or money order, I will make sure jerry(bobadoofunk) gets it on june 30th. PM me for my info.
Hey i just came back to this after not being at my computer all weekend , to answer some questions that where asked.......................
WhoTF am i ?? Answer: Just a guy who came across the thread on helping Funk out , Then almost immediately found this thread...................made me kinda wonder ya know. Now in the first post from you it sez that you where taking pledges not Donations ( sorry i missed that before ) , but later you start referring to it as Donations ( meaning you have taken money ) so thats what got me confused. I also never said you where stealing , i was just saying to watch out for it. Personally i hate sharp tongued , fast talking , soulless , good for nothing CON-ARTISTs , so when i saw this situation i thought just that........................that a scam was most likely taking place. This is coming from someone who never purchased anything from you , so i was pretty neutral til seeing all the crap ppl where saying about you. And your right i never did send you a PM cuz i didnt get that far , just said i was thinking about. NO HARD FEELINGS MAN Now lets get back to F__king around with our poor man's Porshe , PERIOD LOL

This is truly a sad world we live in. Andrew may have problems {don't we all?} But i can't count the number of times he has created logos for just about any who asked. Not saying that he hasn't been wrong a few times, but geez guys lighten up? it's too bad if you were gyped on an item............ today I went to Duthler Foods in Wyoming and their strawberries were covered with mold.
Took them to the courtesy counter and the guy looked at me like....sooooooooo? Not, thank you for showing me, but just a look, like what do you want me to do? I offered to paint Andrew's logos as I thought I had an idea as how it might be easier for him. He sent me three.no charge, and when my idea turned out to not work he told me to keep them, not send them back as I wanted to. ALL people have good and bad sides. If the condition is medical, take you medicine. If the problem is Spiritual, you know the answer to that. Not meaning to rant, but my wife had a cancerous tumor the size of a football removed almost two years ago. The doctor said chemo. we said no. We said Jesus. She went from a size 10-12 to a 6-8 and lost 45 pounds with a healthier diet and a small amount of exercise. WE believe she has been healed. Sorry guys.didn't mean to touch so many bases.but this is a GOOD forum that sometimes gets out of hand because of words that can't be taken back. Once out they are like toothpaste.can't get them back in the tube. Have a good day......Cliff

Jeff can be abrasive, but you might cut him some slack and listen to what he says. The way he said it may piss you off, but that doesn't mean he's wrong. This is one of those situations where you lash out at people who've helped you and are trying to help you.
This may surprise you, but I bear no ill will towards you. Good luck.
