"New" and "Complete" are the operative words. You won't find anything this new and complete ever again so the price is actually a bargain. If you try to source all the parts you need separately to make a T-Top car you will spend a lot more than this. The seals alone will fetch $500 or $600 bucks.

this "new" maybe this "complete", ya right i have been already be offered "complete kits" some still on cars for way less then that. I know a couple of kits i can get for 800 buck that are complete with seal that do not leak. so "try to source all the parts" will not cost me over 1,200 buck that is ridicules for t-tops and judging by the amount of bids im not the only one who thinks so.

You are mistaken. I know about the other kit you were trying to buy...because I sold it to the guy who you were trying to buy it from. Used seals are used. And judging by the number of people who are currently watching my auction ready to bid within the last ten minutes (27 at last count), it would seem you ARE the only one who thinks its over priced. There are plenty of auctions on ebay right this minute for various T-Top components. Have you had a look at them? $135 for two trim seals, $200 for a single piece of metal trim, etc. You should consider just buying a car with T-Tops on it already instead of trying to add them to your car. You will not be able to do it for less than $1250...voice of experience talking.

First off before you go trying to tell someone something just remember you don’t know everything. You don’t know the kit im talking about because the kit im talking about is not on this form, and it is on a car that he is cutting off. as far as the prices on ebay, ebay is a joke where people can jack up the price of what ever they selling to rip someone off. I I don’t ever take eBay into consideration when getting prices. I promises you i will have t-tops in my and it will cost me way less then $1250. and before you go and post again don’t. I don’t care what your opinion is, the whole point of this post is for me to find a set of t-tops. you offered yours and i said NO, that is all that is need to be said. Please just let this be i do not want this to turn into a pissing contest. I hope you sell you kit by all means, i did not mean it was a piece of carp i just ment i could get a kit for less.

Lighten up. I'm just trying to help. Next to Tim Perrigo there are few people that have as much experience or knowledge about T-Tops than me. Hell, I'd like to buy a 4 bedroom home in Morgan Hill, California for $100,000. I don't think I'm going to have any more luck than you will either. You don't want my help? No Problem. Good Luck.

I'm not the "I told you so" type, but....

But seriously, keep an eye on my auctions. I have a few other spare T-Tops items going up including some Glass panels, P-seals, Glass gaskets, gray interior trim pieces, subframe, etc. No more new seals however. But most of this will get you closer to a "complete" kit one item at a time.

uh, who are you and what are you blabbering about?

I offered him the kit he SAYS he is seeking. He passed. Someone else bought it, a PFFer who will no doubt announce it to the world when he gets delivery and starts a thread about the build-up.

I ALSO have lots of other T-Top parts that I am offering. One spare T-Top panel is on eBay right now and other odds and ends are going to be listed soon. AGAIN, the guy SAYS he wants T-Top parts and I am loaded with them.

I am just offering.

He doesn't have to buy.

But I'm offering.

Soooooo, again, what are you blabbering about?

The only thing I don't get is that you have been begging for a T-Top kit for a month and, so far, everyone who offers you the parts gets the brush off. Fierogt3800 $750 used set-up? no sale. Pokeyfiero $800 used set-up? no sale. Sspeedstreet $500 used set-up? no sale, my NEW set-up $1250, you missed it. Are you SURE you want a T-Top setup because it sounds like you want something for nothing.

Perhaps you can explain.

wow once again your stupidly and ignorance amazes me. first of all pokeyfiero stopped talking to me, or at least his friend john never set me a reply to my e-mail, Fierogt3800 could not get in touch with his friend who is the one who has the kit, your set was a joke at the price it was at and im not surprised you still have it. oh that right it just happen to sell off of ebay i forgot about your imaginary friend. as for sspeedstreet he wasn’t selling a kit dumb@ss he just gave me a link to a guy who was. and i am still in touch with him asking questions back and forth. so once again i remind you that despise what your delusional mind seem to think you dont know every thing, and also please shut up. oh and to quote you i have NEVER once said i wanted "parts". if you read what i wrote (you can read cant you? it just seems like you cant by how wrong you always seem to be) I asked for a complete kit. as far as you offering parts I cant see me ever buying parts from you so you can stop offering. that said you have no reason to post again so thanks for playing the game now go back to your post(which seems to be going so well right now) and just leave this one alone. Thank you.

Ok let me get this straight and then I'll stop posting.

1) I started a thread called "ALL MY FIERO STUFF IS FOR SALE" so I could sell all my Fiero spare parts. It has run for 5 pages and has over 5000 views at this point. I have sold over $18,000 worth of stuff in the last 30 days (if you need proof just look at my closed auctions and do a little addition) I have sold tons of stuff both on eBay AND here in the Mall. Many people lookng at my auctions wait til they end and offer me a deal outside of ebay (lower price for them, no ebay fees for me). I take some offers, not others. Sooooooo, you are implying that even though I am trying to sell all my stuff, that in order to prove you wrong, someone I've never met and could care less about, I made-up a ficticious sale? OK, that would mean I can not sell the kit since it would "expose" my "lie" and now I am stuck with a $1250 dollar paperweight JUST so I could prove to you that it is worth the asking price?

Have I got that straight?

Snap-Boing!!! <----that is the sound of the logic meter exploding.

Do yourself a favor and look at my thread and count the number of offers to buy the T-Top kit, then stop acting silly. It's gone!

2) This is the M-A-L-L!!!! People buy and sell parts here. YOU posted a request for a COMPLETE T-Top kit. OK, first of all, they don't exist anymore. Period. I had the last one in existence so NATURALLY I would respond to your post. Well, it's gone. You missed it. Too Late. Sorry. BUT I still have tons of miscellaneous USED parts. No more seals unfortunatley, but plenty of panels, trim, sub frames, etc. All used in various condition. Enough to put together one complete kit, minus the seals. But in this thread about T-Tops do you ASK me for more info on pricing and availablilty? NOPE. Not a single word.

Also You say you can't get a reply from Pokey (Andrew) or John (Fierobear)? horseshit! I know them both very well and have their phone numbers programmed into my cell phone, want them? Didn't think so. Why? Because they tell a different story. They say you flaked. They STILL want to sell the kit but that you have been jerking them off. And I KNOW that kit becuse I sold it to them last year! As far as used kits go it is VERY nice. And hmmmm, let's do the math, $800 for a used kit means that an impossible ot find new kit might be worth......Nevermind.

So what is your excuse for not buying their kit? I have two close friends who are telling me that you are a flake. So what am I to conclude by all of this? You have several people here who are holding out tons of T-Top parts and you are not taking a single offer. You are not even trying to negotiate. Instead, you are calling people names, and inventing conspiracies to delude you about MY business because, afterall, you are so important to the rest of us. There is only one conclusion, you either had no idea what a T-Top kit was going to cost you and are now experiencing sticker shock. Or you are somehow convinced that those of us selling them are meanies for not cutting our prices in half just for you.

3) YOU are the one who emailed ME with questions about my more up-to-date manuals than the ones you have, you ask for expanations of design features and connection methods and I was only too happy to reply. But you don't do it here where everyone else can see you seeking my input, just in email. HERE you bash me for no reason other than you didn't want to pay my price, or apparently the price of any other offer that has come your way.

Well, please don't email me anymore questions. And here is some free advice, if you want a T-Top kit cheaper then get it the same way I got mine and stop asking to buy one. You are not willing to pay market price and if someone else is then they get the goods and you never will. These are RARE parts. People don't have to settle for less than someone else is willing to pay. That is economics 101. The T-Top option was $825 plus $80 freight in 1988 when you could still buy it! This is 20 years later. These things are scarce and cost money!

Good luck and see ya

Ok pics look good, I included a pic of the end caps i was talking about. Do you have any idea how much shipping will be to 63383 and how firm are you on the price? Again thanks for being so patient with me I know I have allot of request.

I finally got back to this...

ok just a few more pics request and question should be all i need, and I get pics of the bottom of the glass, there appears to be some white fading on the glass can that be cleaned off?

It seems to be some kind of hard water stain. I was able to get some of it off with mild abrasive pad and window cleaner. It will come off, but you have to work at it *gently* for a while. Pix enclosed.

the p-seals have paper backing on them are the reproduction?

I believe so. I think someone made reproductions recently.

Are the end caps in good condition no breaking and can i get some good pics of the underside of them,

If you mean the plastic caps, they are undamaged. Pix enclosed.

and last do the locks work well, turn in the lock without allot of force, thanks again I appreciate you taking the time for this!

The locks seem to work, as far as I can tell. They turn easily.

John Szpara

never got a response to it. weather or not the got it i don’t know. and as far as this goes

3) YOU are the one who emailed ME with questions about my more up-to-date manuals than the ones you have, you ask for expanations of design features and connection methods and I was only too happy to reply. HERE you bash me for no reason other than you didn't want to pay my price, or apparently the price of any other offer that has come your way.

you need to recheck who ever sent you those e-mails because unless your name is MISTER on the forum as well i have never sent you an e-mail. but please go to you sent box on your e-mail account and there will be the "proof" you need of me supposedly needing you input. to bad it wont be there. I never jerked anyone around i told him i have a ton of questions and will need lots of pics before i commit to buying it and john said that cool he does not mind. we sent a few e-mails and he never responded to my last one asking for a shipping quote. Please have them e-mail me or even pm. (oh also i wasn’t being sarcastic about my comment about you thread i was saying please go back to it because you do seem to be selling things, you not going to here so you don’t need to post.) now that we got that straight please stop posting. and if john and Andrew thinks i "flaked" that sucks I never did but if that the way they feel they can post that i don’t need you to act as an interrupter for them. I tell you what if you can come up with proof that i sent you the e-mails id like to see them and feel free to post them otherwise please dont bother me again. thank you.

Guys, guys......PLEASE...!!! let's rise above the B.S and get back on track here...

Since my name came up I would like to clear things up on my end:

pontiacman63383 has contacted me in regards to his T-Top search and we had very good communication.

Now, since Toddster posted that he has extensive T-Top knowledge:

So as you both see we are all good people and to each his own way of looking at things.
In the grand scheme of things there are not a lot of T-Top Fiero owners and even less T-Top parts around, so once again PLEASE chill out and let's all just go about our Fiero projects EH? Now shake hands

Don't forget, we'll all meet soon @ the 25th show
