I sent you an e-mail last week asking if you had a cable to go from the stock cassette to the 12-disc CD changer... Is it better to write to you here? I had hoped to get my changer in before the run this weekend but I'm sure there is no chance of that as late as it is... Let me know... Thanks.
Sorry about that. I don't check that other email address as often as I should. The only reason I used it was because Pennock's would not let me register with my normal hotmail account. Of course, now my normal account has changed to radios@replacementradios.com, and I check that on a daily basis, so that's your best bet...
Anyway, to answer your question, I don't have any cables that are that long. I have several plugs with wire pigtails. I could send you two of these for $5 and you could run your own length of wire between them.
Let me know if you want to do that and I can get them sent out tomorrow. If you want them sent Priority Mail so they are more likely to arrive by the weekend, please make it $7.50.
Thanks.

Since you are in Mexico, I will need you to pay with a money order (either online through bidpay.com or via the mail). Your price will also be higher because of shipping. I will need your full address to tell you exactly how much higher.
Thanks.

Even though my business has kind of migrated to OEM replacement radios, I haven't forgotten my roots. I still have some of the Fiero packages. Check out my new website: www.replacementradios.com
Forum members get $20 off the listed Fiero package prices, so don't use the Paypal links on the site or it will automatically populate the higher price in the Paypal form.
Thanks.

Nope. It would be $30 to add that to the radio purchase.
The radios I am selling as 'blemished' aren't trashed, by the way. I don't sell anything that is totally junky looking. They will probably have one (or more) relatively small scratch, nick or wear mark that is noticeable from a normal viewing distance.
As a clarification for everyone else, I have a 'Bargain Bin' link on my website where I sell radios with noticeable blemishes. These are the exception. If you buy one of my regular packages, you will not be receiving a radio like that. Expect signs of light use (it is used, after-all) but there shouldn't be any defects that are immediately noticeable from a normal viewing distance/angle.

Tom - Paypal payments accepted at radios@replacementradios.com (Actually I can still accept them from the old address too, but this one is easier to remember.)
DoubleC4 - From an output and feature perspective they are identical. The only difference is in the appearance. The Monsoon version says Monsoon on the display window and the word Pontiac appears in white as well, as opposed to gray.

Check the website out for the package pricing. Remember that Pennocks members get $20 off the package prices that are listed on the website. Of course, this means you won't be able to use the shopping cart feature on the site. You'll have to log in to Paypal and send the money manually.
For what it's worth... Kevin's radio packages are top notch! Just my 4 cents (inflation) worth... I ordered one of his CD/ETR radios and adapter. The instructions were easy to follow and the entire R/R took about 30 minutes! Thank you Kevin!

Got my UP3 today after the UPS mix up on Friday. Took me about 45 minutes to install it. Did anyone have a problem with the mounting holes not lining up. I got one on the left hand side and had to hack the bottom right to get to line up. All in all I'm very happy with it. It sounds 100% better than my stock unit. Now I need to get some rear speakers.

Bump! just got my radio and Installed it, QUICK!!! shipping and friendly guy... he is a couple bucks more then a E-bay Purchase (like $5), but you get a Radio without Theft Lock (no matter what anybody tells you, its a pain in the butt to change, and most E-Bayers wont mention it) with a harness... that in itself is worth allot, and a warrenty... YPOU KNOW YOU ARE GETTING what you are looking for.... I just wanted to say im a 100% satisified..and want to make sure he keeps going with the Fiero guys... He is in the long run CHEAPER then 99% of the e-bay scammers... SUPPORT HIM!!!! my next fiero will have one (and I WILL HAVE another FIERO..addiction has taken ahold of me).

I have dealt with Kevin twice now and am totally satisfied with his excellent service and quick response to E-Mails. Five stars Kevin *****, thanks again, fierohoho.

Not that it's any of my business, or that I want to start any flamewars, or anything like that, but... In my opinion, if you have an opinion about someone's item for sale, say it.
I do think it's rude, though, to use their thread (basically, their advertising) to undercut them, and sell your product at a cheaper price. If you want to sell it cheaper, that's fine too, but don't set up shop in his store, that's not cool. Even Wal-Mart at least goes next door when they undercut the competition, they don't put out flyers at the entrance to the competition.
Just my opinion, and hopefully, not my own undoing.

I bought one of kru's radios and am thoroughly satisfied with it. As are a bunch of other people. His units also come with a warranty.
I posted that before I knew about his warranty. I guess its an allright price. For people who wanna spend it. I personaly would rather spend it on an aftermarket deck. But he seems to have a good setup going.

"This includes the brand new adaptor harness which you can buy at any radio store for 20 bucks."
I am willing to bet you are talking about the wrong 'adapter'. You cannot buy THIS adapter in any old radio store for $20. I have yet to see this adapter in a radio store. I know of only 3 places you can get this adapter...and I sell radios. You are probably talking about the replacement PLUG (w/ pigtails) that goes into the back of the newer radio. Well, if you do that, my friend, plan on hacking up your Fiero wiring harness to splice it in. The ADAPTER I am selling is exactly that...an adapter. You plug it in the Fiero harness on one side and into the new radio on the other. It also includes the REQUIRED antenna adapter, SHIPPING, instructions (including how to mod it for the PSS), a warranty and support, if necessary.
PLUS...I am a very reliable seller. I've sold about 200 of these packages to Fiero owners (many on this site) and I sold hundreds of other radios on eBay last year alone. Not to toot my own horn, but my eBay feedback (826 with 99.8% positive) should speak volumes for me and my packages. You, on the other hand, we know VERY little about. I see that you just registered this month...
As for hijacking my thread, I agree with musicman_L7 and Raydar. Say what you want about my price (even though I've got 100s of people who evidently disagree with you), but it's not cool to try and 'pimp' what you perceive as a comparable product in my post. I'm not really worried though. I think enough people out here know me and my reputation well enough by now. Plus, as I said, I suspect you have your facts wrong regarding the adapter harness...

Very professional kru! There were many ways that this could have been handled, and this outcome didn't involve a flamewar, or any name-calling. Definately, the way that I would like to do business.

Woah! Touchy...I think I hit a nerve. Anyways...it wasn't intended on a flame war or anything related. Its just....200 bucks....OEM CD....No Preouts....Old Technology.......I dont wanna be an ass, but when my local salvage yard told me that price for an OEM Stereo...I laughed in his face. And another thing, I did post that BEFORE I knew about your warentee, so there was NO NEED to get hurt about it. I admited I was wrong the instant I found out about your services and you still jumped out of your skin. Go on with your buisness, have a blast, I dont care...once I sell this pontiac stereo and another pontiac related item, I wont be here any longer.

Trust me. You DIDN'T hit a nerve and I'm NOT hurt. I agree. $200 is a lot to pay at a salvage yard. That's why my package is such a good deal. Radio, adapters, shipping, instructions and a 45 day warranty for less than most salvage yards want for the radio alone. Plus I know what I'm talking about. (toot, toot) A pretty unbeatable combination...

I should have bought one from kru in the first place, I bought one from the Mall here a month or so ago, and when I hooked it up I got an E20 error. Wish I had a warranty now!
Anyways, you'll be getting an order from me soon kru, based on the feedback here I don't think I'll have any worries.

Scythe - Yes, I have a few of the Monsoons. Price for the package is $20 less than on my website since you are a forum member. See the 'Packages' link.
psychic_mechanic - I am offering the $20 discount on the packages that were offered here to forum members before I started selling them elsewhere. The packages are all non-blem. They are the Monsoon UP3, regular UP3, non-EQ Pontiac and the Chevrolet Auto-tone. They can all be found on my website in the 'Packages' link. I think it's a pretty good deal, given I regularly get $10-$30 more on eBay.
Tom Slick - That is a common problem on these radios. The bulb burns out behind the display. Please note that I clearly state they are used radios. As such, I have no control over when something fails. I offer a 45 day warranty to provide SOME peace of mind but I have no crystal ball to tell me when it will go bad. I'm not selling radios that will magically wait til just after the warranty period to fail. Having said that, please drop me an email and we can work something out. Thats a very common repair for me to perform on those radios. (In fact, I usually have an auction on eBay for it.) Seeing as how you purchased it from me, I can get you the bulb at a discount, along with instructions on how to perform the repair yourself. You will find that it is pretty easy.
Thanks everyone.
