I have 3 cable sets left. They are tested and ready to go. $35 shipped in the US or Canada. Free CD with winALDL and ALDLview is included for your convenience. After these three are gone, I'm probably done for a while.
Paypal and Money orders OK. PM me if interested.
Thanks
Steve

Nah, it's not too bad, but I have had some other projects come up and time is limited right now. I actually enjoy doing things like this, but it gets hectic with too many irons in the fire.

I'm down to the last two cable sets. Between work, GF having surgery next week, and a couple of other non-Fiero projects I have going on right now, it may be while before I have any time to make anymore.
Post, PM, or email me at srat110 at sbcglobal.net.
Thanks

Hope surgery goes well for your GF. I am just about recovered from mine. Did you get the Paypal for the cable and cd yet? I also e-mailed you a pic of my Fiero.
Thanks, Rick88

Thanks Rick, She has to have her gallbladder taken out. Not a big deal these day's from what I'm told, but it's still surgery and she'll be fussy for a few days I'm sure.
I sent you an email last night. I got your paypal e-check notice, looks like funds will clear on Wednesday. I have to run another one to the post office today so I'll get yours out too.
Wish my Fiero looked as good as yours, the paint is fading on mine.
but she runs good.
And my 88 coupe that's sold pending final payment and pickup.

PM and emails sent.
lol, looks like I may have to build one more, and I always build a extra or two while I'm at it so there will be at least one more left.

One question though. Is there any difference in the cables for the duke and the 6?
They work on the 84-86 duke and all 2.8 years. they will not work on the 87-88 duke due to the different baud rate that the ECM used during those years. there is a more complex cable that is supposed to read it, but I haven't found any software that supported the ECM. I tried on my 88 duke with no luck.

I had to build one more and the way the parts are packaged I build at least two at a time so there is still one available that has been tested and ready to go if there is anyone else interested..

You can buy a serial to usb converter on ebay for about $10 shipped. That's the easiest way I know of to go USB. There is a link in this quote.

Also to those that were interested in a usb cable, alex de jorge used a serial to USB converter that he got off Ebay for $10 shipped. He reported that it worked fine.
edit: I listed the wrong person as having made a serial to USB work. Correction made.
Just got my package! No problems at all, great quality. Took 15 days to get to me but it was on hold for 8 days at the swedish tax/toll office before they processed it. But I think I got it pretty quick!
I'm giving you a + rating
Nice doing business with you Jörgen

I would like 2 how much would that be, And before anyone asks why. I have a few cars and am putting permanently mounted computers in them and would like to wire the ALDL adapters in with the computers.
Thanks
